I liked Extra Musica's intro (Aah Sonor Digital), Roga Roga then having his own entrance. Arafat really killed his career by leaving Extra Musica (how did he manage to animating years long whole concerts by himself ?). Its the first time that I see a concert of Extra Musica of that period, I hope to see more in the future.

I don't know why, but everythime if I see or hear Roga Roga, then I think immediatly about JP Kilombo of actu du net hahahaha.

I feel like extra musica missed their opportunity to extensively tour in their peak.

pierrette adams with alvarito and champion vualu for me their part was the best in terms of sound
i think arafat was actually suspended long term for openly complaining about salaries when doudou, bastin and co left so he got punished and refused to beg

I feel like extra musica missed their opportunity to extensively tour in their peak.

from 1998 until 2002 they had major tours in Africa, mainly because of the massive succes of Etat Major and Shalai. Their tours in African countries were longer than the bands based in Kinshasa who were then spending months in Europe. Extra Musica  were at that era filling stadiums (even in Madagaskar & Comoren). They made also some short Europe-tours (the community of Congo Brazza isn't really big like that of Congo Dr, most live in France), got the chance to tour in USA  back in 1999 and managed to perform at Palais des Sports & Le Bataclan in 1999. Then in 2001 they performed at Zenith de Paris with Koffi Olomide & Papa Wemba as guest and got invited by legend Manu Dibango to perform at Olympia Bruno Coquatrix alongside Werrason, Magic System and other African stars for his birthday. But from 2001, after having finished recording Trop c'est Trop, they received a ban in the Schengen Area because of having brought alot of ngulu's during their last tour. So from then they haven't returned back anymore in Europe (only recently in 2017), they applied many times for visa's but they were everytime rejected, that's also why Obligatoire got delayed from 2002 to 2004 (them ending up recording the album in Brazzaville).

How was Alvarito's and Champion's experience with Pierrette Adams ? Because I remember both saying in interviews that they were promised to tour in Europe but them ending upby  only touring in West-Africa. I don't remember if it was Alvarito or Champion, but one of them said that they were so disspointed for not going to Europe and saying that the life was so hard there (I wonder if they were paid), adding also that he was asking for money to Fally if he came to Ivory Coast with Quartier Latin. When Alvarito left F-Victeam, Djino Liaki reminded him that he had a hard time in Ivory Coast and that he wasn't able to feed his children and wife.

yes they seem like they were not paid well but they had some serious serious successthey performing in a lot of full stadiums in west africa i am sure she did not take them to europe fearing they'd run away since they already missed europe with wenge kumbela for most of that group but things improved a bit when they moved to senegal then when koffi took latino to senegal before going to get ferre in europe fally who saw something coming already alerted alvarito to be ready in case

Where is Julian Antonio? He is the atalaku who did the cries for the generique at 16 minutes but it's being interpreted by Biraman Rouge

I think he had already left Patrouilles des Stars at that time, but I don’t. I barely know things about them, I only know their generiques and the three songs they made about Congo lol.
