Music like any other art has disappointments and non achievements. You wonder whether its lack of promoter or luck? You just see very young talented musicians. You think he is the next big thing. The leader of the next generation. Others live to the expectations like Ferre, Heritier. Others come from nowhere like Fabrigas. Name 10 artists and vocalists in congolese music who never ,lived to the expectations of being stars and leaders despite their massive talent.

Willy Bula a great singer, charming dancer, and good songwriter which is pretty much the prototype of Fally and Ferre

Yeah Willy Bula is definitely another one on my list, he was just born in the wrong generation if he was around the same age/time as Fally and Ferre he would’ve had a good solo career.

Can't forget about Oxy-Oxygene, all his songs throughout his tenure with Extra Musica and Universal Zangul were well arranged and career in law enforcement derailed a promising career!

1 amadeus mozart mpela
2 alain mpelasi
3 afandé le chef du gouvernement
4 motshua
5 tshakulenda
6 suzerain maximum
7 roi david le leader de la 5 eme generation
8 flamand noir
9 the candidate  alain yoka mpela of "congolese labour party"
10 the man who introduced the system of governement in DRC,the prime minister

:D :D :D more seriously i could not agree more with you guys, mirage also deserves a shot but when you listen to him talking you'd think he was more destined to the lokua kanza/jean goubald type of career rather than your usual "noisy" congolese artist career
