Why? I thought people liked Article 13. Is Wazekwa not popular anymore?

Wazekwa isn't the same wazekwa of 15 years ago. I dont even think that he would be able to fill Stade Tata Raphael or Stade Cardinal-Malula

Do you think it's because he doesn't accept ghostwriters or poach talent from rival bands? I know Koffi, JB, and Werra did a mixture of both strategies to remain fresh over the years.

I feel like Wazekwa doesn't promote his band as individual stars since he lost Joss Diena, Gessac, and Hono Kapanga back in 2007. Even though they came back, they brought nothing special

His time is just over you can't reign your whole life. Apart Fimbu, he last real succes/generique was Adamu na Eva in 2013.

Felix Wazekwa in reality never promoted his musicians properly like Wenge Maison Mere and Quartier Latin. It was just that Gessac and Joss Diena made alot of tv-appearances and those polemic confrontations of Gaspard Love. Hono Kapanga started to get known because Gessac often mentioning his name and Hono appearing on. The rest of Cultura Pays-Vie was barely known. After their departure, Wazekwa was giving them more opportunities but apart Pitshou Concorde, Licha Shombo and Eclipse, the musicians werent promoting themselves like Joss Diena, Gabanna and Gessac used to do.

I see that he has moved his date away from June which would have looked like he is trying to compete with Ferre with some speculating that he is doing it to please Dicap. Lol

I think the Wazekwa of Faux Mutu moko boye or Que demande le peuple would have a greater chance of filling the Stade unlike today.

spoke with him,he knows clearly that he wont fill the stadium but he says its actually a blessing in disguise because he wants people to watch the show he'll put with the group rather than focus on the crowd so if there is not crazy crowd they have more space to do the show the way
lol i got a bit on his nerves as i am part of the the "camp" of those who insist to him about the crowd but he thinks he will change the way congolese people have their perception about the martyrs were the crowd is 99 per cent of the show
