I am surprised that Celeo Scram actually had a group. I always thought that he was a solo artist alone.

So sad how Celeo ended after a good start in his solo career. I think that he would have been very far, if he didn’t have problems with visa’s. If I remember well, he wasn’t even allowed to go to Brazzaville, missing a big event there which was just after Nzoto na Nzoto

Yeah here is the video he talked about it,he could have come still as a ngulu/guest to fally's first zenith along with mignon abraham who was then serving a year of suspension i am sure even though he may regret it as a occasion to fulfill the contract opportunities he was having at least he is happy that he is not having that eternal debt "kutu tomema yo na poto"

bro check  the comments i posted a video where he explained that all his attempts to go back to france where he had a couple of contracts waiting and potential feats did not happen and that he knew where it came from
during that period or slightly after he had to go to turkey to "forget" a little bit as things were turning, beer sponsorship denied, one of his men of trust running away with 65K destined to buy a landplot then switching camps once he was back in europe and many other things

That's  exactly why I don't feel bad about guys like Werra not performing in Europe anymore, he could of created a society of guys loyal to him who could help with any problem but with Ferre, Celeo, and many others he treated them as dirt giving Sankara instructions on how to dirt them,  can't expect goodness after you treat people like trash, also he is lucky that people like Deplick (who got slapped by him) Heritier etc. Didn't took his bad actions at heart and forgave him. With that said, do you think that if Celeo kept quiet and planned strategically by asking for his passport without acting like he left and also didn't desrespect Werra in public his career would be different?

nah unfortunately in most cases even if you do things the most diplomatically whether it takes a week or 10 years at some point the ex leaders tend to always do something, either because of the jesters or because themselves are not happy with your solo progression
but specifically on celeo's case no unless he went to stay in europe like roi david and co and had a semi-active career at best, these was still the years of a very polemic centered maison mere so no matter what something would have been created even if nsone did not ask, just to show him loyalty,if it was in the last 5 years then yes
it was almost impossible for it to happen, but what he could have handled way better is his career once in europe,a lot of people will not remember it but celeo was along with fally pretty in advance in terms of digital promotion,he had youtube way before many,a website which was quite decent and many things,he is somebody who normally knows promotion
its true that the fact not only he does tease or respond in public to behind the scenes or on pages stuff from fally's camp and that it blocked his way of promotion in a like 90 per cent in the congolese digital world, but also himself set himself almost like a retired artist with the wayhe always insists in every interview about his job and his various training he is taking in france, its fantastic for him on a personal level, but it sends to people the message that music is almost like a hobby for you, just look at how adolphe's career when downhill hard when he focused for years on private business a lot of people are not taking him seriously anymore despite releasing albums at a decent rate
he has a following and feedback some active musicians who stay quiet can only dream of and if he manages to twist in in the good way for his music then he can come back but there again he choses a tricky strategy by doing that much rumbas, people will always at best make some of his feats become hits then he'll be 'held for ransom" by the fans of that featured artist and told that its only because of the others
while if he made the effort to consider himself again like an atalaku first and foremost and promote better his few dance songs he can still make it on his own
for example his two main "dance songs" of his album, still no clip for months while we are in a era of clips either saving or boosting to another level songs

Musicians never get their passeport back when they leave their bands. The passeports they leave in the band get used for multiple purposes.

They went away with Celeo's passeport because they thought that he would stay in Europe, animate on Lacoste's album and himself also recording an album. Also they were already mad at him for like Flamme not wanting to participate on Werra's worldalbum unless signing papers with SACEM to receive royalties, openly supporting Fally for Olympia while having a concert the same day in Amiens, etc. He already created the separation between him and Werrason without knowing it, by doing that interview Francis Kakonde and openly saying the truth. All in all, it give Werrason the power to get totally rid of him, because he didn't want him anymore since years and doing the tour they did everything to frustrate him (Linda and Gisele insulting him, Sankara fighting against him, etc.). It was a stupid move of Celeo to follow them in Kinshasa and making the situation worser by going to all channels and ask for his passport.

Werrason himself said that if you leave him, you are automatically his enemy. All musicians that left Wenge Maison Mere of the golden generations, had issues when starting their solo-career. Bill, Ferre were lucky that they had contracts with Primus and Skol, which made people think that everything went for 100% well. But behind the scenes alot of things went on. Them insulting Werrason is because of them losing control
