I guess that the incident between Eric Tutsi & Michaux Chambertob already happened. With Eric Tutsi joining Felix Wazekwa.

What incident what happened?

One day after performing at Cinemax some shegues ruined Eric´s car. The next day Eric asked to Koffi if he could give him some money so fix the car. Which made Koffi angry and reacted aggressive against Eric.So Eric left it behind. But he didn´t knew that Koffi had an idea to punish him. The next concert he let the then ´newly´ recruited Chamberton sing the song Dulcinee to humilate him. After that Eric went to threaten Chamberton and saying he must not sing his song anymore where he´s present otherwise he would do something bad against him, which scared Chamberton. The next day Chamberton went to say that to Koffi, which made Koffi more angry and he went to Eric and said that he didn´t want to see him anymore in Quartier Latin.

Mvulusi96, What is the problem between BendoSon and Reddy Amisi ?

Thank you for your answer.

Nothing, it was the fans who created that beef by gossping about the guys. Reddy and Bendoson, were ignoring it in the begining. But then an interview where Bendoson attacked Reddy, by saying that his time was over made the beef start. People tried to reconcile the two guys, but it was to late. Because the succes of Bendoson went to his head, thinking that he was best of the best and Reddy didn't want to forgive him. 5 years later some people said to me that Wemba's staff created this conflict with as goal to chase Reddy away from Viva, because he had to much influence and really outshined Wemba in the past 1990-1996, but he didn't want to leave at that time and when Nouvelle Ecriture came in power it was the moment to take revenge. After Zenith '99 Reddy went to Kinshasa to promote Etoile, guys from Viva thought that he was about to leave, because he recruited some musicians, while Nouvelle Ecriture was also returning to Kinshasa. But Reddy returned then back to Europe waiting with Viva "Cour des Grands" for Wemba.

Btw nobody from Viva La Musica was happy about the creation of Nouvelle Ecriture (expl. Demukuse, Stino, Gloria, etc.). Espcially when Nouvelle Ecriture came on tour in Europe, they saw it like that they were stealing their place and fame. Even Asta Paola who assited to the recruitment of the musicians in Kinshasa.

Thank you, why did Reddy & Bendo leave ?

After Zenith '99 almost the whole band was fed up with Wemba's staff, the way they were living (their weren't paid) and they were rehearshing (big bands like QLI, BCBG & Maison Mere were rehearsing with electric guitars, while they were still reheasring with acoustic guitars and they forced to pay the instruments with their own money). So Bogus decided to start a solo carreer before joining BCBG and Bendoson was suspended by Wemba staff. Then Do Akongo asked him to join Quartier Latin where he stayed for a week and he was then brought back in Nouvelle Ecriture by Wemba's wife Amazone. In 2000 Nouvelle Ecriture went to Ethiopia and after performing there they were again not paid by Wemba, which made the whole band angry. With Bendoson stealing Wemba's passeport and forming with Pompom Miyake, Ramazani, Christian na Nzenze & Azoze na Mbonda the band "Nouvelle Ecriture de l'an 2000" claiming that they fired Wemba from their band. Bendoson went then to make from the name Nouvelle Ecriture a "marque deposee", nobody could then use the name without his autorisation. Papa Wemba was then forced to change the name of his band in Nouvelle Ecrita. Some other members wanted also to join Bendoson but decided to stay. The first months of Nouvelle Ecriture were a big succes and they were blessed by Emeneya. They started then also the studio-session. But then Bendoson started to mess things up by thinking that he was the sole leader, so Christian na Nzenze & Ramazani went to join Quartier Latin. While Pompom Miyake tried to rejoin Nouvelle Ecrita, but he was not accepted by Wemba's staff so after months asking for forgiveness to Wemba he joined Victoria Eleison. Bendoson was left alone and tried to record a solo-album. But he was making himself unpopulair by attacking Wemba to much on tv and press was writing bad things about so the end he joined with Babia the band of Jolino, which made people say that he made a foll of him self (from being a big leader to joining the band of Jolino), one year later he rejoined Nouvelle Ecriture were he stayed for 3 years.

Reddy felt with many other Cour des Grands-members, that Wemba didn't want them anymore, since that Wemba was to pro-occupied by Nouvelle Ecriture & the Fioti Fioti's performing everywhere with them in Europe. Reddy had already a bad relationship with Wemba's staff in Europe by inviting Koffi Olomide in his album Etoile, while Koffi had at that moment a beef with Wemba. So from that moment Wemba's staff started to gossip about him to Wemba. Stino & Reddy who were in the past rivals tried to get their succes and Wemba's confidence in them back by recording a duo-album called Fin d'Exil. The album was a big flop and the album-title caused for alot polemic. Stino & Reddy both saw that their time in Viva was over and decided to leave the band a start their solo-carreer with Reddy returning to Kinshasa staying there for 9 months to form his own band "La Casa do Canto" and recording a big part of his solo album "Conpteur a Zero" there.

Do you know the reason for the separation of made in france and nouvelle generation? For me it was the best team with the team Kester yogo esperant and debaba

Nouvelle Generation split because of misunderstanding. You know after "les 12 Apotres" (Emeneya, Bipoli, etc.). Papa Wemba was not more the same person of 1977-1982. Luciana, Maray Maray and espcially Lidjo Kwempa tries to save Wemba with their singles, but couldn't face Victoria's strong succes kin Kinshasa and Brazzaville. Having world-music aspiration, Wemba decided to settle Viva La Musica in Europe, there he met also alot of ex' Viva members Rigo Star, Bongo Wende, etc. and musicians from other bands who had no activity after being settled in Europe. They all joined Viva. Bit Vic a was still down, so between the period 1988-1992. Guys like Stino, Reddy, Joly Mubiala started to release LP's which was bringing the succes back with guys like Modogo Gianfranco Ferre, etc. inviting Viva in albums. But in meantime people were saying that it was better for Wemba to stop with musi, because he was taking profit of their fame (ko-diembela) and the musicians were not happy because Wemba wasn't paying engough money, like he was doing in Zaïre. Forgetting that they were living Europe where they must pay bills, etc. and couldn't live like Gigolo's anymore. They proposed Wemba to give them 40% of the money he was getting from his Record-label. Wemba agreed, but after talking with his staff and wife he refused. Because they said that it wals his own money, so he must bot share it with them and that Stino and many other musicians were mocking him and saying that  he was jealous of their succes this all angered Wemba. So he hold a Réunion in Viva's rehearshall and that everybody who don't agreed with him must leave the band.

Reddy, Stino, Awilo, Luciana decided then to leave the band. But some days after that Reddy and Stino reconciled with Wemba and returned to Viva. Awilo, Lidjo, Fafa de Molokai continued and created "La Nouvelle Generation de La Republique Democratique". When they started the band they had huge succes releasing the album Porokondo and Luciana's solo album Station Radar. Wemba didn't know what to do against their succes. Reddy was saving them with the Injustice-album, but it was not engough. One day a music-producer proposed La Nouvelle Generation a "fara-fara concert" at LSC with Viva La Musica. They all agreed. But then they were getting warnings from peoples that guys from Wemba's staff went to India, looking for "nkisi" to destroy the band during that concert and that people were throwing "nkisi" on the doors of LSC. Lidjo & Awilo told that to the other members of La Nouvelle Generationa and that they must cancel te concert. Fafa de Molokai & Luciana refused, because they received alot of money from the music-producer. So when Nouvelle Generation performed Awilo & Lidjo didn't show up during the concert. After that Awilo & Lidjo rejoined the band, but Fafa de Molokai didn't want them back in the band. So Awilo & Lidjo started their solo-carreer. After that La Nouvelle Generation went down, the actrative Djenna Mandako died, José Fataki became a "frere en Christ", some others became ill. In 1999 La Nouvelle Generation disbanded with the most musicians joining Viva La Musica "Cour des Grands".

Here's Lidjo Kwempa explaing the problem of the fara-fara concert.
