Werra is in Paris and he should try to recruit those soloists over there, they can really bring a new sound to not only Maison mere but Congo based Sebene.

Flamme and Kimbangu can say whatever and I will take them seriously. This joker needs to continue washing dishes in Belgium and forever thank God that he at least features on the history of Maison Mere. If he had stayed I'm sure by now he wouldn't be the first choice.

There is no guitarist in wenge musica maison mere apart from japonaise,  who has interpreted alain makaba the way Christian solo did.  When the boy joined,  werrasons generic or sebenes had the cool flow which has not been the case since flam and kimbangu.  Christian is makaba is roga roga,  simple.

Anyone that comes to Maison Mere to interpret Makaba's guitar will never and should never be accepted. Werrason is a forward looking pioneer who shouldn't be looking to be dragged to yesteryear nostalgia of Makaba. That era is gone and must remain there. To suggest that Flamme or Kimbangu are not great guitarists is tantamount to blasphemy. Had it not been that I know that you are knowledgeable of Congolese music I would have dismissed your claims as rantings borne out of ignorance. However, I will still accuse you of being disingenuous. Christian Solo is a good guitarist and that's as far as he goes. He's not even fit enough to carry Flamme's guitar for him. The concerts he played on were flat and the guitar hardly audible. He was lucky to join Maison Mere and probably lucky too that the adventure bought him a new life in Europe. He should be grateful for that and shut up.

Werrasonique, I don't know why you're being harsh on Christian Bombole. He's not said anything bad at all infact I think Archos did not choose the correct title for the thread as Christian has mainly criticised Arc en Ciel who think he's not doing a good job. Christian played on 2 albums ie Temps Present and the original Techno Malewa Vol 1. 

The boy has criticised the current lead guitarist Arc en Ciel for not creating anything decent to go with the sebene as Werra now is now depending on rhythm only and that's why he said it's Coréen Accompa most of the guitar works.

As to Christian's skills, he's an excellent guitarist(rhythm and solo) and Kapaya or any other major guitarist knows that. Like Olivier Tshimanga and many other guitarists who have studied music and guitar at INA, the national arts institute of Congo, this boy has vast knowledge on styles and that's one thing he's taunting Arc en Ciel for, he says Arc does not seem to understand music that's why he's failing to fuse in well with Coréen Accompa whom Christian has praised a lot for doing Werra a good service.

Christian also says he's still part of Maison Mere and the only reason he stayed over in Europe was to get papers and that was with the permission of Werrason himself. He says he's got his papers and after releasing his first solo album,probably a maxi single, he will be going back to Kin and is looking forward to playing at La Zamba again.

Christian's only problem is that he's been too honest, as he's still a member of Maison Mere,maybe he shouldn't have criticised his colleague Arc en Ciel in an exclusive interview otherwise the interview was good.
