If ever a concert was mythical... this is it. These guys should’ve played Zenith at least 3 times in their prime

At this point Nkila Mbongo was having difficulties with his voice

Somebody's gotta reach out to the guy for the VHS. I have the equipment to transfer VHS to digital video. I don't mind paying money for the tape

Kiekie I’m just as surprised as you, it looks like a full house as well. I’ve never understood the hype around these guys, especially on this forum. For me this group copied a lot off Wenge 4x4.

Does it matter that they copied wenge? As long as the music is fire that's all that matters. They were big here in Chicago in the late 90s early 2000s when they played their songs at all the parties.

I hope you guys can help the guy that uploaded this clip to get the full concert on youtube.

For the rest of Southern Africa I can't say but for Zim, SA and Malawi I know Extra is bigger than Wenge, I am show they even know cause last tours to these countries were some flops.

Interesting conversation, now let me clarify I have nothing against brazza or their music. But one thing about Extra Musica at least here in London or Belgium, no one really plays their music like that. I’ve never ever once heard a song by Extra play at any party I’ve been to from graduation, birthday, weddings, even at a nightclub NEVER. My own dad and other olders that I know here in the diaspora aren’t even familiar with them.

No disrespect to them or their fans though. I just don’t get brazza’s music or style in general, and I’m not xenophobic lol.

Yh I also agree copy or not copy if it’s fire it’s fire, however as someone from London I can agree with the others here it’s never really been an extra thing the only way I knew is that before Trop cest trop used to get played on one tv show I forget the name.
