guys any opinion on wazekwa's album?in my opinion he has improved as a singer and the way the songs are played and recorded too, plus album is almost completely LIVE,nothing better than live albums to appreciate guitar works and hear instruments better(intelligent use of the clock instrument ngongi for example)

I will listen in full over the weekend but so far am disappointed, I have been sampling and only listened to one sebene and the closing song a forklore one,the rest are rhumbas so nothing new really. The generique sounds like a continuation of his older generiques, the arrangement is the same and so is the sound quality.

I still have not listened to this but to be honest these days an artist can only make money through concerts......surely, all the songs and video uploaded on youtube?

Yes, if you want to make your songs popular then better flood them on the market, no one buys this shit anymore, too many rhumbas all sounding the fucking same and weak generiques so there is no loss but gain when they are put on youtube,it makes it easier for people to follow the songs and dance steps easier at concerts.

Tell him that I really like the album and my favorite are the songs is the generique and the forklore song, and ask him is he ever doing a group album?

He used to do group albums then solo albums but since 5 or 6 albums now he has decided never doing solo albums again nor completely group album,he adds 7 or 8 songs then he picks the 3 or 4 best songs from musicians

You tell him to play proper sebene and stop cutting the solo guitar and for a change ask him to try a 4 to 5 minute pure generique without monotony or any of those breaks where he does Michael Jackson dances,he needs to listen to Et Aprés and he'll notice how wrong he's gone, Et Aprés was a fantastic album though the solo guitar could have been louder.
