I think that Heritier, Fally, Ferre would with the right marketing do better than Koffi's Stade des Martyrs of 1999. But honestly don't see any difference with the public that came to Emeneya's concert. It's almost the same, only that the camera team didn't film behind the podium which was according to those who visited his show also empty. You must know the way Doudou Adoula and Deo Brondo mocked Koffi for that when being interviewed by Zacharie Bababaswe. His friend Kester Emeneya keeping reminding people for years the way Mopao did mpiaka. Newpapers who became anti-koffi making multiple negative articles about it. Koffi himself couldn't sleep for days because of this. 30th March 2002 was liberation day for him after years of torture despite having filled Bercy and putting Parc des Princes on his agenda. It's a shame that the VHS' of Koffi's biggest events in 1999 & 1998 (Abidjan '98 & '99, presentation Loi, Intercontinental '98 & '99, Cinemax '99, Madeleine '98, Bonne Année '99 and Stade des Martyrs) were produced by small labels. Now we can't find anything back on youtube expect those who were produced by Sonodisc and the label of his staff Conseil Executif.
There was Fofo le Collegien who made his return to Quartier Latin after Fally came, Ocean joined later as well, guitarist Janvier Okota who didn't make it on the Bercy-list, atalaku Bizima Kondos and many many more who are unknown.Of course, because Attentat was the last album were he sung on. He never sing in albums of Ql and Koffi again until Abacadabra where he had a small vocal of 10 sec. In Academia he would at least have sung on two albums. But Babia is just a mess, had a drugsproblem and didn't understand for years that Koffi didn't want him anymore, the same for Rocky Blanchard.
babia had actually joined academia but was lured back the same way as chado(rocky blanchard) in zaiko, with promises and threats from the bodyguards and since he was deep into the smoking he could not even notice what was going on he was just going left right centerin that same period jb who is a HUGGEEEEE fan of him wanted to take him to europe and leave him there but the staff was against and started creating stories to scare jb

Did he still get paid, even if left behind? Is he still with Koffi? I know he left for a brief moment to play with Zaiko and then Academia for 4 Coins Kandala, but I'm not sure if he returned. I liked his style of playing bass, I wished he shared roles with Binda. Also, I wonder whatever happened to Ondoma Motema? He disappeared after being left behind in Kinshasa for Bercy, did he join another band?
