It's strange that there are no festivities planned not from Roga's side, nor that of Quetin.

This is a great group of Brazza. They did a lot of good in Congolese Brazza music scene. They are similar to Wenge Musica. Like Wenge, they could not keep their egos under control leading to splits and divisions that remain strong until today. For example, by now, we should have an official reconciliation between the likes of Roga Roga, Guy Guy Fall, Doudou Copa, Quentin Moyascko, Kila Mbongo, Durrell Luemba, Papy Jah and Herman Ngassaki but since many of them have big egos, it has yet to happen and sadly seems unlikely. What shame? SMH. Anyway, let's enjoy this great group while we can.

Tbh I don't know, I don't know how the Kinshasa public perception of Extra Music is I know thst they were Extra Fampus in the 90s but they changed their style cause people used to say that they were a Copy Of Wenge Musica BCBG  4X4 The original group with JB, Werra etc. But after that it seems like they are more known in West African countries like Ivory Coast, Camerun, Togo etc. Then in Kin his Ado Yuhe interviews was on of the least watched and the views are lower then even J3, Lady Esobe who is a comedian and Zoe Bella who despite being a legenda I don't think have been Active in music since ages, My opinion is that the fact that Roga made Extra so Rogacentric giving the fact that he isn't the most good looking man in the world and that he got rid of Good singer Like Doudou Copa and other good singers left like Oxygen to some extent Herman Ngassaki etc. Maybe contributed a little bit

People from Kinshasa follow Extra Musica. They know them, but they don’t follow them. It doesn’t have something to do of them not copying Wenge 4x4 anymore. It’s just that they are from Brazzaville, which makes people from Kinshasa automatically not put attention to them. It’s already very hard for Congolese people to follow music of other African countries (today it’s little but different ). But back in the days no will of seeing someone having cd’s of music from South Africa, Cameroun, Benin, Ivory Coast, Mail or Senegal at home, unless being open-minded, having a lot of foreign friends or someone who travels a lot.


Why I was asking it, about nobody posting something about Extra Musica’s 30th anniversary here, is because there are many Congolese members here but a lot of stuff of Extra Musica being posted and commented here, which is rare.

30 years anniversary deserved a reunion concert but wouldn't have happened especially with that interview Quentin did with Ado.
