Debaba Mbaki, Pompom Miyake, Iboss Le Grand (R.I.P.),etc. . Other leaders would not accept a copycat or a musician singing like him in his band.

That is not quite true. Pepe Kalle was just like Papa Wemba. He too had singers who could sound like him.

I will give the list

Dilu Dilumona
Solo Sita
Djodjo Ikomo
Biya Chante

It is incredible how much Pepe Kalle loved to have someone who sounded like him. In fact Pepe Kalle used to sing harmony with Djodjo Ikomo with Blaise Matadidi or Desouza Santu. I am sure we would have gotten Biya Chante, Pepe Kalle and Desouza Santu together had Pepe Kalle had lived longer.
