Eto'o and Drogba for where? They are never near or an inch close to what could make them win the Balon D'Or in terms of achievements and all.
Matebu, you are right about Drogba. I just would not know what made him make a detour like that (I would not want to say he lost focus but I think he did). If not he would have gone far internationally.
Every has-been footballer now wants to play in all these Chinese clubs because of money. Lol
^ Both of them are just collecting checks from no-name teams now, and should retire to stop sullying their name. Drogba could have accomplished much more on an international level

lol, anytime i think of Eto'o's international career, i remember this. No way this would've happened to Weah or Milla

Just in case anyone has forgotten or doesn't know about Weah

No that's how guys in their 50s look when they don't keep them selves in decent shape and don't groom well look. And Didier Drogba stopped a war in his country and his dine a lot of humanitarian work in his country. Samuel Eto has done a lot to elevate the African game and was at one point the most expensive player when he went to Russia.

Why are you so concerned with a man's appearance? He's a key senator in Liberia, serving constituents not looks.

lol, what? Do your research. I lived in CIV for a number of years and known the political situation. Drogba was used as a pawn.

Eto'o was most expensive player for a few months. His tenure there ended being a disaster, then he went to Turkey, where he still is now.

Matebu, abeg leave Jdog. You have said it that he does not know who Weah is so whatever he says about him should be taken with a pinch of salt. I didn't like his present shape too considering the fact that he was a very powerful sportsman back in the days. Regardless, I still respect his feats till tomorrow.
Drogba is no longer in Galatasaray,Turkey o. He left Chelsea for China. Played there for a while then went back to Chelsea. After like 2 years, he moved to play at Galatasaray,Turkey. From Turkey, he went to Canada now he is in Arizona.
His best moments were when he was in Chelsea. And that was where he got the awards he has to his credit.

Wow, now we will likely have to call him President George Weah. Very impressive considering he was highly doubted by so many when he first began his poltical career.

The only African Ballon d'or winner

Meanwhile "Kabibi" Kabila's electoral commission is now saying that DRC elections cannot be held until at least April 2019, without giving actual reason.

Read it in the news now that George Weah is still leading ...I pray he wins finally o. And that the election was very peaceful.
Now this brings me to this: which way DRC? Now that  Kabila has turned himself to a sit-tight president...
