Can someone please provided me with the names of Bob Marley's Spokesman? Or Franco Luambo spokesman? We don't need those CLOWNS...they just show up every where to INSULT; that's what they do best. Kanyama can create a new band full of clowns like Sankara and Mosaka to make people laugh. I'm sure they can make a lot of money doing that.
I think these spokesmen are just for Congolese TV and Internet because I don't even think they announce the programs of their groups internationally, Congolese artists just like other artists have managers who manage them and stuff but I don't really think they need a spokesman because they artists themselves can go on TV and say " album na biso ezo Ya lala mingi te". And if someone else attacks another artits then the musicians of that artists can defend their boss.

''album na biso ezo ya kala mingi te.''

kie kie kie djodjo we could spent a whole day listing the number of people our musicians should get rid it off to become truly professional i always think about it whenever i see ya réné lokua kanza in a tramway wearing simple shirts and jeans with his guitar on his back,no bodyguard,no "staff", no " pire petit",no " momie" ....
Jdog,I would like to inform you that most of the Congolese Singers have no Managers. Some just use their close friends to pick up their phones when they don’t feel like talking; the friend improvises himself as the Manager. After the conversation is over, he goes back to the “friend” status. It is very hard to deal with a Congolese Artist. I dealt with Tiken Jah Fakoly, Alpha Blondy, Papa Wemba and a Salsa band from Toronto. The person I had trouble dealing with was the OLDEST one; Papa Wemba.
of course their role is limited, dont expect them to do song analysis and stuff like that, but it would be unfair to condemn the whole c
