Kikikiki, I have heard them all play giutar and I know exactly what each one of them can do. Guitar is played by the brain and fingers. No one has the same as the other one. Kapaya is just fast and I have seen others struggle to do that. But the issue here is speed does not mean best. One guitarist I have heard who can outclass kapaya at speed is makaba. Pile au face......

Just like with driving, any experienced driver can do what another experienced driver can do, there's nothing special about speed. Kapaya and Kimbangu have set high standards on solo guitar by taking Mboka Liya's style of creating multiple signatures to another level, it's not easy to do signatures but with practice any good soloist can play like what another soloist can play.
Sly, I have told you before, opinion is opinion. Let's provide open statements and not closed ones that seem cast on hard stone. You may know how to play guitar, I may have better hearing capabilities. I have listened to mboka liya, patou solo, ficarre, kimbangu, ........Flam kapaya is faster, no matter what song. I think in a laymans view, I hear various rifs whatever you call them, when he plays. I used to hate his style, until I listened to miss margo, from alerte generale, the guy was a star on that song. You are talking about speed here and if I try to drive a car like you, I will end up crashing.
What about Kimbangu? He is one of the best soloists in Congo.
So now who is the solo guitarist in maison mere?
