One of the best Leader+Band-album of DR Congo from the polemique-era 99-03
But so much underated and forgotten, while people only reminds A La Que Leu Leu, Solola Bien, Force d'Intervation Rapide, Internet & Titanic. This album was recorded in Kinshasa, after the departure of Bendoson, Carlos Ramazani & Christian Na Nzenze. They all went to form Nouvelle Ecriture de l'an 2000 and later join Quartier Latin International. Papa Wemba was forced to change the name of Nouvelle Ecriture in Nouvelle Ecrita, after a proces against Bendoson who claimed that he gave the name of the band. This album was arranged by Al Nzimbi and distrubuted by Rigo Makengo & his music-label Clarys Music. It was released after their succesfull Europe-Tour along with the Fioti-Fioti's, with memorables concerts at Zenith de Paris & Olympia who where voted as best concerts of the year. The album contains nice songs with real lyrics and strong vocales, not comparable with songs of today who are full of mabangas. Also a little attack of Apocalyps to Bendoson in the seben of song Lelo Na Decider.

Do where Zimbabwe, New Jack and Lambio Lambio did go ? Last time that I heard about Lambio Lambio, was in 2003 when it was rumoured that Werrason wanted to get him to Maison Mere and about New Jack I heard rumours that he was deceased.

Thieery Mogratana was the main solist of Nouvelle Ecriture and didn't play the rhythm-guitar in this album. The rhythm-guitar was played by Pinto Costa in the whole album

It angers me that most of Wemba's videos on YT have been taken down & pages have been deleted on behalf of his estate... aka mère Amazone because they didn't generate revenue for them.

Who are the authors of Fruitella, Okomi & Lost Love ?

Lost Love (Pathy Patcheko)
Fruitella (Pathy Patcheko)
Okomi (Papa Wemba? - I might be wrong as Wemba barely composed)

But Papa Wemba didn't even sung alot in this album album and had only 3 songs on his name. So why deletiing it? It was a band album, not a solo album and the hits of this album were the songs of Pathy Patchecko, Alpatshino (R.I.P.) Iboss (R.I.P.) and Tosha Bass. She getting money, who doesn't belong to her.

The thing which made my sad is that you can't find the album back on ITunes, Spotify and Deezer.

Gave this album another listen on the way home from work... wow what an album. Fantastic compoisitions and each sebene has a unique sound, whether it's a change up in animations or Theirry Mongratana improvising partitions.

RIP "le capitaine de L'Équipe" Alphatshino, the most passionate singer of his generation. It seemed like he did everything except design the cover art on this album. Also RIP to Deo SFR, Iboss, & Itshari Lokole.

After this album I thought Mongratana would become Soloist A and Dady Bola shifts to B, but that didn't happen.
