Satanisme already started in the time of Wendo Kolosoyi. His first hit song Marie Louise from 1948 came with trouble, it was claimed that the song had “satanic” powers attributed to it by Catholic religious leaders. Stories from the time even claimed that the song, if played at midnight, could raise the dead. The furor drove Wendo out of Leopoldville (Kinshasa), and resulted in a brief imprisonment by the Belgian authorities in Stanleyville(Kisangani) and his excommunication from the Catholic Church

Archos, when you say sleeping with dead-man, do you mean having sex with or just sleeping beside.

i mean having sex with them, koffi was even caught years ago in ivory coast wanting to do it before a big concert there
he escaped jail thanks to some of his friends who had high political roles there
but in congo its very very easy for them to do it,they have friends who work in mortuaries so they collaborate with them
imagine even young guys like  bill doing that

On another note i heard that Zaire took some of these witch doctors to a world cup (1974  ithink) , they were given a chance to do all their rituals and they were  walloped 9-0.

This song was wrote by Gipson Butukondolo and released on the album Force de Frappe.
If you pay attention very well, you will hearing that Koffi indirectly admits that he use withcraft andexposing his employee Gipson Butukondolo.
In this song Gpson is singing that they said to him to use withcraft but that he refused(I think at the time that he was bandleader in Matadi, before joining QL) because it is useless and then at the end of the song (before the seben), Koffi indirectly admits that he use withcraft and singing that people said to him to searching fast for succes but that he refused(refering to the time of Ngounda/Diva)and he's also reacting at Gipson's vocal. Singing that Gipson does not have to cry, because in his own heart he owns very well that he use withcraft even if he is denying that.

This is very interesting because I have never paid attention. If you listen to Jipson vocal and immediately listen to Koffi you will get it. Jipson denying witchcraft, but Koffi telling him u know the truth that u did approve it.

Interesting indeed
