i am working on it,as soon as i finish or get it into advanced stage i will post

before talking deeply about wenge el paris,its important to do a quick flashback on two of the future founders of the group:soloist docteur zing zong and bassist aime bwanga
both were co-founders of wenge musica ésthétique(along with didier masela,jb mpiana and werrason) which later became wenge musica 4X4 tout terrain les anges adorables
zing zong monitored alain makaba after his arrival in the group,when they were still all at school,and most of his partitions were re-worked and used by makaba in wenge musica albums
zing zong and aimé bwanga went to europm in the mid 1980s to continue studying while wenge musica,before wenge musica started to rise
while both were in europe,wenge musica started to rise and in 1990,like i said earlier,the group's leaders were arrested while trying to travel to europe with false visas,only two future members aswell of wenge musica aile paris drummer pipo and singer ricoco succeeded in that attempt
once in paris,and having obtained their high school diplomas, zing zong and aime bwanga went back to music and started rehearsing and recruiting musicians
singers ya yuyu,jdt mulopwé,savanet depitsho,rento vena,keyboard player nzenze,bassist boss matuta coming from viva la musica and rhythm guitarist lidjona coming from anti-choc are recruited,adolphe dominguez also participates to rehearsals
while they are rehearsing,marie paul arrives with wenge musica instead of alain mpela who was having exams to prepare and after participating to recording of kin e bouger he leaves the group as he feels under used compared to werrason and blaise bula who he thinks are inferior to him
he then joins the rehearsing group co-created by ricoco,zing zong and aimé bwanga and they are joined later by atalaku full king  who was in wenge musica  but never participated in albums
the arrival of marie paul completely changes the dimension of the group, he is so eager to prove a point to wenge musica that he motivates them to form the groupe wenge musica aile paris and uses his relationships with donors to create good conditions around the group
they start recording album molangi ya malasi(perfume bottle),which main song molangi ya malasi already existed in wenge musica
in fact its author singer ricoco was meant to add this song on kin e bouger,there was a pre-record of this song with jb mpiana,werrason and blaise bula
on the poster of molangi ya malasi,the 4 founders of the group are represented(aime bwanga,ricoco,marie paul and zing zong) but ricoco is represented in bigger character that the rest since most of the songs are his
the group has support from older artists like papa wemba,kester emeneya(who gives them his drummer to record that album) and his brother joly mubiala and as manager francis kalombo
one year later,in 1992,they release album nganga nzambe which marks the arrival of drummer maradona from wenge musica with the main song nganga nzambe credited to marie paul and dedicated to francis kalombo,this album creates a lot of polemic
in fact,after the departure of marie paul,a great rivalry starts between wenge musica and wenge musica aile paris and the song fidelité a sens unique is seen as an attack towards wenge musica,marie paul says "those people exploited me,i was so nice to them and now they stab me in the back",another reason for polemic is the song gainsi alino which alain mpela claims to be the real author
the group is realising a great exploit not only in succeeding while being a euope-based group but also giving a fierce competition to wenge musica who just became the best group of Zaire then
marie paul dd something which remained historic in congo during a concert of their rivals of wenge musica
while they were on stage,marie paul arrived in the road of the concert hall and dragged all the crowd out of the concert whis his witchcraft power
after that,wenge musica went for revenge in releasing song "le monde est mechant"which was a remix of kin e bouger
in this song,jb mpiana says"wenge is our children we have raised for days,months,years,you stole our name to earn youtself a living but the real parents of that children are known,world is evil"
the year of 1993 marks the debut of leadership conflicts in the group between ricoco,marie paul and aimé bwanga, and bwanga leve the group to create wenge musica aile paris kumbela
meanwhile,manda chante leaves wenge musica angry against werrason who did not pay him anything despite being very sick during kalayi boeing recording sessions but also  against jb mpiana and the rest of administrators as he feels under appreciated and playing too much of a bit-part role
he then joins marie paul in europe to create what became  wenge EL PARIS and not more AILE PARIS
 aile paris means the  paris-based wenge whereas el paris means the wenge who is the king of paris
in the next steps,i will talk about the new musicians recruited then until mana chante's departure in 1997,and then later life after manda chante(from 1997 to these days)

arrival of manda chante in the group makes them an even stronger rival to wenge musica as him and maire paul are two of the best singers of their generation
the group recruits singers savanet depitsho,jf ifonge,keyboard player jean didier loko aka JDL,aswell as former wenge musica reserve bassist delo bass,mi-soloist alain mwepu and atalaku kennedy mbala
meanwhile,young singer gessan sakoko who joined few weeks before aime bwanga follows him in wenge kumbela
the name of the group then changes,they get rid of musica in their name and transform like explained earlier aile into el paris
the group is on a tremendous rise,and they cement a very strong fan base in congo despite being based in europe
those fans eat,drink,sleep,breath el paris and marie paul even calls them his "congregation"( ba ndimi in lingala)
the group tours in europe and america,and soemtimes perform in kinshasa and go back to europe
they started recording an album(finished a master) but it could not be released
in fact,wenge musica who were closer to mobutu family and especially one of the children kongolo mobutu AKA saddam hussein made him use his power as the president's children to forbid the release of that album and marie paul,manda and ricoco were threatened to be sent to jail if they contested the decision(irony of fate is that wenge musica themselves go through the same situation with saddam few months after as the had a conflict)
they kept touring while expecting the situation about their album to change but the more time went on,the more marie paul dominated the group,his close friends became like his employees
in 1995,manda chante  started missing concerts and performing with viva la musica,he was half in el paris,half in viva but at the end of the year they sorted their problems
 one year after,they had authorization to record an album((that album of wenge musica i mentioned earlier was released that day aswell)
they are kinshasa when wenge musica arrive from their succesful USA tour announcing album pentagone,and while they are invited on tv(jb,adolphe,bula and aimelia),guitarist brukina faso mbokaliya who was also with them is asked about how the tour was, he surprised everybody saying it was crap and he was unhappy and from now on,jhe joins wenge el paris
burkina faso then participates to their recording sessions as they prepare album "armaggedon",but he leaves shortly after and returns to wenge musica and is replaced by soloist océan indien
during the recording sessions,marie paul insinuates that something is going to happen to the rivals of wenge musica
once again,he goes where wenge musica was having a concert with a soccer ball at his feet and fans shouting "marie paul,roi pelé,roi soleil)and he went with most of the wenge musica fans
few times after the release of that album,their rivals of wenge musica split and marie paul proudly says whenever he goes on tv "what did i told you"
for the first time of their history,the group had spent almost two consecutive years so that they could give face to face competition to wenge musica,and their album is a great success,manda chante gets singer of the year axard with his song ibrahim,ex-aequo with jb mpiana
marie paul chooses to support his  village brother werrason when him,adolphe and didier masela create the group wenge musica maison mere, the name even comes from him and he wants to help werra by giving him jdt mulopwe and manda chante
but manda chante is strongly against that idea(having already some anger towards werra due to how he was treated in kalayi boeing)
for manda,it would be a massive mistake to help werra as werra is not grateful and will betray marie paul,but marie paul is determined to help werra and goes ahead,manada chante leaves the group fealing betrayed by marie paul  and creates his group wenge reference
this is the debut of downfall of wenge el paris
next step the return to europe with new musicians like celezino with some good years then the massive downfall

one year after,wenge el paris release album couvre feu (curfew) with the dance kunza na pimpa which is a great success in congo,with the arrival of three talented atalakus doukouré,bizima kodos and patou bofosa and the young brother of marie paul,liverpool also joins the group but then plays a minor role,pitshou santiago replaced zing zong on lead guitar,singer savanet depitsho also leaves the group
they gave a memorable concert at stadium tata raphael the second big stadium of kinshasa
like you said,they had a big concert at palais du peuple,then marie paul went to help werrason and maison mere,like i said earlier he gave him jdt,some of his friends who are donors( grand pretre like we call them in congo) and also he told his fans to fully support,at that time marie paul had bigger fan base than his friends werra and adolphe and the support of el paris was very important in the first moments of the group
but marie paul did not realise he was actually losing many of his supporters who fully dedicate from then on to maison mere and also that there would be problems between him and werrason
in 1999,there was that incident were he falled while stepping into stade des martyrs stage while werra and maison mere were performing,this was interpreted like werra stealing  marie paul's power
in 2000,marie paul started preparing another album but struggled to have a producer,he contacted producer jps but werrason was informed and was against(but agrred that manda chante could be produced),meanwhile singers charly chaplin,arc en ciel zola and celezino had joined the group,celezino becoming the long awaited replacement of manda chante
album was recorded in europe but few sessions were done in kinhsasa to let soloist santiago  who did not get visa participate and also singer gessan sakoko who made a quick return in the group
in 2001-2002,marie paul finally releases that album "eboulement"landslide in english) and indirectly attacks werra in song saying "i wonder why some people i helped now hate me,world is evil,they conspirated with people to finished me like people conspirated against Jesus,they are jealous of me but i wonder why,but one day they will pay for what they did to me"
that album gets a good reception and is third in hit parades but quickly fades due to lack of promotion and the group are stuck in europe as they visas and work permit had expired(blaise bula and his group went to similar situation the same year)
most of the group members leave marie paul to sort their papers situation thorugh jobs and family life
the group only performs in small french cities
tough times for marie paul who disappears slowly from scene but two years after he is determined to rescue his career
promotion is then made about a future album "yebela vision" and the return of marie paul in kinshasa
new musicians are recruited in kinshasa by marie paul's brother liverpool to prepare a massive concert
marie paul arrives in kinshasa in august 2004 and performs at grand hotel  on a thursday with tickets sold for 20 dollars,which was quite rare,this brought  a bit of success back
meanwhile,in the europe branch of el paris most the band members turn their back on marie paul preferring their private life and jobs for some,joining other groups for others
shortly after,marie paul returns to europe to start recording session of new album yebela vision but fails to bring kinshasa musicians to europe as he is denied visas like most groups in that period after papa wemba's arrest
he then has to record album between paris himself and the few remaining europe el paris members and in kinshasa with the new team, a contract is signed with a good producer but that producer is apparently threatened by some congolese artists
once again marie paul sees werra behind it and attacks him during an interview saying "Judas wants my career to be over but he will fail because i am in the camp of Jesus"(in that time marie paul almost became a pastor in paris)
another producer is contacted but does not respect their contract and marie paul has to pay many studio sessions himself,this makes album take a long time to be released
it is finally released in 2007 but is a big flop,marie paul returns to europe to try promote album and also starts doing a bit business(selling cars)
 from 2007 to these days,the group has not done anything of note except that concert at stade tata raphael during elections in 2011 for candidate tshisekedi


 

I don't understand why Manda Chante's solo carreer was a flop, he had the potenial to become a Big Star.
Did it flop because not using nkisi, recuitement of his band Wenge Reference or making good promotion ?
It was strange that Werra did help Manda, while Manda don't really like him.
What is the title of the song that Matie-Paul did attack Werrason ?
What also notable is, was that event in Kinshasa on a 16 février 2000. When Werrason had lost a fara-fara against Marie-Paul, while he was on top with Solola Bien!

werra helped manda to piss off marie paul,once manda came in europe werra even thought about using him instead of adjani but ferre was against because he saw in manda a fierce challenger for tenor role,so he said bad things about manda to werra(you will remark that  manda keeps attacking ferre even now almost 20 years after)
for manda flopping,its all the reasons actually,he tried nkisi with sorcerers( animal sacrifices and stuff like that) but it did not worked ,he was then  asked human sacrifices(family members) so he was scared and abandoned
then it was complicated to manda and for any other clan wenge man than jb and werra to have success,very very complicated
koffi,werra,jb and wemba controlled press,they had journalists in tehir pocket so there is no way you can break through if they decided you wont be well promoted,wazewka for example was brought to congolese tvs by papa wemba and then to bralima(primus) by jb and result he had opportunities to succeed
