ficarré became wenge's only soloist in kinshasa in 1992/1993 and probably thought he would have no competition or maybe a purely reserve guy since makaba had gone back to europe or he thought he deserved to be untouchable after being in makaba's shadow way before mboka arrived
yeah you understood right, that incident between blaise and masela happened during reunions to avoid wenge split, masela and werra made a conspiration about the group's money and blaise was not happy about it
about moleso he said jb was not possible to have on phone when moleso's children died and that in general when you are out of favour jb does everything to avoid you
interview was a bit confuse, they were jumping from something to another too quickly, mboka's casual way of talking did not help either lol

Thanx a rchos. Yes, the discussion was all over the place and on some parts the sound is terrible. Mboka Liya was also behaving like he's on weed, laughing too much even when there's nothing to laugh about, I think the cameraman was making laugh!

Dont forget burkina gave solos away for kalayi boeing for instance "cresois" was made by burkina but ficarre played it. another question what was minzoto wella wella style because in another interview mboka said how did tshabwala and things like that so I wonder what he learned for takinga's minzoto. alain makaba and burkina had a excellent relationship I think it down to there artistic skills (note both were at bobongo studios of al nzimbi) what happen to that studio??? another thing i noticed ferre, japonais and ali mbonda never like to admit they were at bcbg they always they were at maison mere since day one looool but we all know the truth

Well said archos. Mboka Liya's story is well balanced, he's shown the evil and good sides of people like JB Mpiana and surprisingly he's full of praise and respect for Alain Makaba even going to the extent of saying  it was Makaba who made Wenge Musica as the arranger and that's a fact, I don't think Didier Masela as founder played much of a role and it could explain the rift that was there with Werra and Masela on one side opposing Makaba,JB and not wanting anything to do with newere musicians for instance Mboka Liya says Werrason never wanted to be on stage when it was Mboka Liya playing lead as he Mboka Liya was recruited by JB Mpiana who Werrason probably considered as an outsider in the band he and Masela founded.

spot on archos the ministry of culture are just appalling they 30 dollars to lola mwana as commemoration of dindo yogos work (copyright) that is a joke
