Kaskin.....ooooooom, Celeo Scram can go on alone without help? Shocked. By the way I don't like it when leaders of bands disrespect older artists like in this video where Aimelia Lias is at the end of the line and Heritier in the middle. Why? Se bo ndo Ya Machine always impresses me on drums....Pappy Kakol!!!!

Yes, he already joined them in private one week before Maison Mere went on tour in U.K.  with Bill, Ferre and co. with Celeo not being happy.

R.I.P. Papa Mundabi  :'(

kiekiekie "frere" Bonbon Kojack, he just came from Operation Dragon (Werrason's second band)

Werrason recruited alot of guys from Lofombo's Delta Force, I can mention Mimiche Bass(replacing Didier Masela and taking Fiston bass place over as no1 bassist), Teka Diobanza (being there some weeks before double zenith), Shora Mbonda (the guy who played Kibuisa Mpimpa and Bercy, replacing Ali Mbonda who went to BCBG for a year), Goldberg (being there already since 2002, as Bill back-up and member of Operation Dragon) Michel Bass (being there since 2001 in Operation Dragon, and since end 2002 as full member, after Mimiche departure). I'm wondering what Lofombo's reaction was, hearing Koffi (John Scot & Ile de Cambodge) and Werrason stealing his musicians, with him being blocked in Europe for 2 years.

It's so pity that they cancelled that show at Stade Charléty. I was so curious, if they would be able tofill that stadium. It broke my heart when Les Marquis decided to break away from Maison Mere. Because I wanted to hear and see if Miracles (which became Temoinage) would pass Kibuisa Mpimpa as album (being also curious to Bill new animations) and seeing them shine at Stade de Charléty, like we saw Palais des Sports, Zenith, Bercy and Stade des Martyrs '01 & '03.

To be honest... I thought that it was over for Werra, when Bill Clinton, Ferre & JDT left. But the "Roi David-hype" after his recrutement & the "Alerte Generale-EP" saved him alot. I remember many fans screaming that they wanted Ferre and Bill Clinton back during concerts and guys like Brigade & Goldberg not being able to let forgot Bill and also not seeing Celeo as a new no1 atalaku. I remember also that Werrason wife, staff and journalists like Yves Kamabala & Zacharie Bababaswe did everything to take Bill back to Maison Mere when the conflicts between Bill and Ferre started, with Ferre being scared and then threaten to take Flamme Kapaya & Celeo to Les Marquis, if Bill would rejoin Maison Mere (Who would finally stayed in Les Marquis, after seeing his offer of a big villa being rejected). The polemic between Koffi Olomide & Werrason, became also hotter, with Werrason's staff accusing Koffi for supporting Les Marquis financially and being behind Ferre, Bill & JDT's departure, with Koffi mocking Werrason for not paying his musicians, not being able to sing on his own only with his singers and praising Les Marquis fully on tv. Bill even sung a little bit about that in the song Thrahison "vous accuse Mopao eeeh.... ce la trahison".

I saw last time an interview of Heritier's spokeman "Mpaka Lingomba" and he said that they tried to take Baby Ndombe (who just started to record Tour de Babel, who started as a maxi-single) back in Maison Mere , when Ferre and co left. But his sister messed it up.

Sankara made me hate Werrason and Maison Maison a litlle bit, when he went insulting Ferre's mother on tv, Bill, JDT and Ferre, while they not yet decided to start Les Marquis (only Ferre who was doubting between returning to Maison Mere or a solo-album with help from Japonais & Mimiche, who where already based in Paris and some other musicians)

Man see how happy Celeo is at the end of the end video. I'm sure that if they didn't that code 12-strategie on him, that he would be still a Maison Mere-member till this day like Kakol & Ali Mbonda. I found the things they did to him during all the years of him as solo-artist so nasty and Celeo himself making it worser by reacting on thousands interviews over the years, with people thinking that he was on the bad side and jealous, while he was right. He lost then alot of fans, donors and "friends" with his life becoming a little bit difficult with guys like Heritier, Kakol, Sankara, Brigade mocking him on tv and real life and saying bad things. i'm so glad that he's living in Paris now.

It was a good choice from Alici Baba to bring Thierry Mogratana to Maison Mere, which motivated Flamme to work harder (became little bit lazy after Kibuisa Mpimpa and Burkina's departure ). Seeing his place as no1 solist being in danger.

Spring to Mid 2004. Werrason has a reputation for being the stingiest of all the musicians, so while there was big successes in 2001, 2002, and 2003- the musicians saw no change in salary often times Werra would "forget" to pay some musicians . Meanwhile Werra was getting bonuses from Mr. JPS.

JDT began plotting breaking away right around when Kibuisa came out, maybe before that.

It was during WMMM's 2004 Europe tour, specifically in the UK, most of the band had enough of the money issues. Upon return to Kin JDT, Ferré, Mimiche Bass, Japonais, and Bill were not present.

The last nail on the coffin was Sankara (being who he is) deeply insulting Ferré and his mom on tv while he was in Belgium... to the point where his mom was on rtnc crying because of the attacks. They also didn't take seriously JDT's recuperation in Europe after a major accident. From then on Les Marquis began formation

Japonais, Mimiche and Serge Mabiala where already setteld in France, Sonck 2002after the A La Que Leu Leu tour. Miracles was planned for december 2003, But the arrestation of Jean Pierre Saah and the ngulu-affaire, made Werrason planning to record the album in France after the Stade Charlety-event (10 july 2004) to release the album for Nov./Dec. 2004.

That sucks because Goldberg was in Maison Mere all those years but Roi David and Kene Kene got the chance to shine, it didn't even know Ali Mbonda went to Bcbg.

Yes it was JDT & his friend Agazul Zulan's idea and Baby Ndombe made it a bigger, When Maison Mere came to South Africa for the 2000 Kora Awards. Werrason was then lucky to have Wasengi Kipuni on his side who saved HIM and reconciled them before the Kibuisa-Mpimpa recordings. The idea re-appeard again in 2003, with this time Ferre on the head getting Celeo, Flamme, Baby, JDT in the project. Bill didn't want to leave Werrason in the first place, seeing HIM as his second father and wanted to stay in Maison Mere for his whole life like Djuna Munbafu in Empire Bakuba, Nono Monzoloku & Doudoy Adoula in Zaiko. But Ferre changed him his mind by saying that they could always rejoin Maison Mere, if the project flops. They started then to look for songwriters like Eldorado (he wrote 100 kilo & Detresse) and made then a manquette for their album. But they where snitched by someone of them afterwards. So When Werra asked Ferre about Les Marquis, he Saïd that he didn't knew something about iT and that iT was Baby Ndombe's idea to start a band. Which made Baby Ndombe's situation in Maison Mere worser. The same week guys from Werra's came to his house with a witchdoctor, saying that Baby wanted to sleep with his wife to get his succes and do some spiritual stuff to HIM. This scared Werra alot, so gave HIM a 3 weeks suspension, some days before performing in London and When they returned they gave him an "suspension indeterminee"/they fired him. Lutumba Simaro, Baby's father and Emeneya did everything to get him back him Maison Mere, But it didn't work out. Meanwhile Werra's staff was spreading was false rumours that Baby slept with Werra's wife, in order to kill his solo-Carrera. In the same time Werrason send donors like Didi Kinuani to give Guy's like Heiritier, Celeo and Flamme big anounts if money So that they would not leave during the second UK-tour.

Yes man, Sankara's interview really led  to the creation of Les Marquis, Because Bill, JDT and Ferre all.stayed for their OWN reason in Europe. JDT stayed for medical reason (he was recoveribg from a big car-accident he had in Kinshasa), Ferre stayed to take care for his family and thinking about a solo album with on the same time having Japonais, Mimiche and Serge Mabiala on his side and recruiting muscians like Celezino, Biva Ray, Generose, Pica's Mbayo, etc. Bill having a demo of Madame la Tortue in his pocket (stil angry about the money of Tindika Lokito and Unicef)  and thinking about an international solo-Carter like Awilo Longomba

Since they left and created Les marquis in 2004. How were they able to create and release miracles so quickly that same year? Did they use the material that was originally going to be in werrason's original miracles?

Since they left and created Les marquis in 2004. How were they able to create and release miracles so quickly that same year? Did they use the material that was originally going to be in werrason's original miracles?

They are professionals, there are many albums who were recorded just in one month and released in 3 months. Ultimatum of Koffi (in 3 days if im right) and Sens Interdite of Ferre Gola are some examples. The album of Les Marquis, was needed to be released quickly, because they hadn't enough songs to perform with (having only Vita Imana, Victime d'Amour, Chetani, Style Moomberg, Vent du Soir & Examen as their own songs). The album self was not a big succes in the beginning. Because Alerte Generale who was released one months before hit them very hard, the album was also not well promoted by S.I.P.E Production and they hadn't released and recorded the videoclips yet, so Ferre was
obliged to sold his two villa's in Kinshasa to finance the videoclips of Miracles. Werrason & Koffi did also everything to block the album spiritually.
So it was very hard for them.  Bill Clinton already animated those attacks of Werrason, since day 1 of Les Marquis in the generique 7eme Lecon  "papa atiki tiki mibeko eeh.... tolamuki na tongo papa akoti na kisimbi- yo" "Si tu me fait du bada bada on vas te faire bada-bada" and that Werrason was stupid to give him 10 years of power, because everyone was animating like him now and singing like Les Marquis (Ferre) and Werrason staying behind with nothing/being finished and at the end of the generic, he's screaming that he want his money, what he stole from them during all his years in Maison Mere.

The clips of Miracles where finally released when Ferre Gola & Bill Clinton came to Kinshasa to start Les Marquis aile Kinshasa (JDT staying behind in Paris with the rest on the band), people then started to apperciate the album a little bit and when Les Marquis was killed (JDT proclaiming himself as "Le Roi Marquis" in Paris, Bill Clinton starting his solo-career with help from Skol & Zacharie Bababaswe and Ferre who didn't knew what to do after being ignored by Bill and the flop of "Les Marquis des Beaux Garcons" thinking then about rejoining Maison Mere, but then joining Quartier Latin after getting 13.000 dollars from Koffi Olomide)  the album Miracles became suddenly a big succes. Being no2 in the charts of Kinshasa & Brazzaville, just behind Koffi Olomide's Monde Arabe with the songs 100 Kilo, Eric Gwenye, Amour Interdite and Ecole being peoples favorite songs.

The song Amour Interet of Ferre, was apparently meant to be on Werrason's solo album. Like Ferre gave him the song Le Vent du Soir in Kibuisa Mpimpa. The album of Les Marquis was first meant to be named "Sukali Sukali, Elengi Elengi", but they surprised peoples on the day of the release of the album that they named it "Miracles", which pissed Werrason off. Werrason was very happy during the Europe-tour of 2005, when he heard that Les Marquis was split in three.
