Dj SLY this man would have taken fally's fame now because I believe he had it all but squandered it. how was his first album received in congo?

I doubt he would have taken Fally's fame. There are certain characteristics that people want in solo artists or band leaders, some guys like Suzuki though talented are not appealing to fans,it's about how they conduct themselves, how they dress etc or let me say personal appearance also matters, check the way he's looking and see how Fally used to present himself,Ferre Gola is one person who followed Fally's style,he changed his personal appearance including hairstyles, fashion just like Fally used to do and that got people talking, that's what you need in the entertainment business, people talking about you that's why Werra and Koffi love controversy,it keeps them going.

Upcoming solo artists also need to be financially backed by big men that's how the likes of Fally made it,it's not just about releasing an album and waiting for sales, their is massive promotion needed and that's when the likes of Didi Kinuani,Tcha Tcho Mbala and other diamond dealers who love their name to be mentioned come in and finance you to so that you recruit musicians and tour.

Suzuki's first solo album was very powerful,he featured some of the best musicians but without these things I have mentioned above he was doomed just like Alain Mpela,Bouro Mpela and the others, they release fantastic music but without massive promotions and concerts it's a waste of time, only hardcore fans like me will buy their CD's because I follow what they do.

charisma and money = success (aside from the obvious, talent)
this dude may have the talent but without the other two factors he will not see success like fally or ferre.

all of that being said what is the name of his album?

Dj sly its emotional for me to take what you're talking about man!! with that talent suzuki has he cannot be succesfull that is hard to take for me!! but anyway he so polite that he doesnt seem a celebrity. Talk of Allain Mpela and His brother Bouro have never understood these brothers, at some point they were very popular musicians but without any solo work to show of! and again if I may ask, what is the pay like in these biig bands like quartier Latin, wmmm, and bcbg?
