he's been released and continued his way to america with his brother prince
from what he was saying out of nowhere they suspected him that he came with drugs and bombs or whatever like that and came with dogs specialized in detecting the smell and they found nothing and he did a quick instagram live where they realised he is an artist and then fans at airport came to take pictures
brussels can be a nightmare for congolese artists a lot of strange things happen to them at zaventem airport

I'm guessing the ngulu affaire left a bad impression of Congolese travelers in Europe

yeah in the mid 2000's i came back from kin along with wazekwa who had brought two journalists two dancers and late nono chaka to rejoin the rest who were in denmark and they suspected him of bringing ngulu and they took all of them and told them if you are really candidates to exile just be honest and we'll help you out and they confirmed they were dancers journalist and atalaku and they were like we dont trust you,so would you accept to go back to test whether they are really artists because ngulu would never accept to return, and they all accepted to return
there was one of the dancer who was new who literally made it to europe after two rehearsals with the group she was crying loud and punching things until the other dancer cheftaine olga handled her
only for us to learn later that her mother was in an advanced cancer and that tour was vital for her to find money to treat her and she passed away and the dancer herself passed away a month after from pain and depression
man that ngulu affair helped people and musicians themselves but also came with big collateral damage
a similar situation happened again with wazekwa a year after, until today if he can avoid brussels even on his way to paris he prefers paying even a more expensive ticket he's still hurt about those two aborted tours and its consequences

No it’s not because of ngulu’s. Those problems already started earlier. It’s because of those former Congolese drugsdealers based in Brussels who were making money in the 80s and 90s, that they are often complicating Congolese people at the airport. Which is their own fault because they were snitching each other because of jealousy and them messing it up for normal people coming from Kinshasa.

Bro, even if there are a milion Congolese being drug dealers Belgians shouldn't group us in one single group, I mean Leopold the 2nd made some very bad thing to our people, cutting hands, Killin people, sticking rubber to the back of Congolese peoole.to then rip it off, but why we don't treat all white people as potential threat? I would create such a huge fit if they tried to do something like that to me in a Belgian airport, because even if a mioion Congolese people d drugs you should treat every peoole w8th respect, I never seen white people being arrested onsuspicionof taking drugs only after being discovered but yet with us we are all guilty until proven wrong
