maybe our brother joined the forum"too late" but jb has been torn into pieces including by those who supposedly defend him
there have been topics on his laziness,on his private life,topics of rant about him coming even from his two three most active fans on the forum shamala emo and sly there has been my topic of his missed opportunites which made me look like a complete fool ....
at the end of the day its not jb's fault if most of his obvious flaws are directly about music and he gets criticized for that,just like its not the other's fault their flaws are what they are and they get also criticized for what they flaws are so i dont see the problem
criticism is actually soft here,spend a day on any of the popular artists videos of youtube and watch the comments  you'll see the huge difference
like shamala rightly said we all have different ways of judgeing some like an artists and defend him at all cost,some criticize but still appreciate,some do not like at all and bash endlessly and so on,especially as its repeated over and over that the musical world of our country is too evil minded so i dont see who is being made to look like a saint sent from heaven

@archos, nuff respect. I did not mean that JB or Fally do not get criticised. They do but anytime that happens you find a majority defending them looking for excuses to make it look like it is not their fault. It does not mean that Koffi and Werrason dont get praised here. Occassionally they do but sooner or later the thread turns into the ills Koffi or Werra or Ferre has done and totally erases the positive post that had been intended for consumption. Just go through the archive and tell me if I am lying. Dont pick a single criticism of JB or two or Fally or Wazekwa for example. Take a holistic look and you will not fail to establish a trend. @shamala thought i was saying this to defend my favourite artists but kindly look at my last comment about Koffi's new album or what I said about Fally's ability to produce top quality rhumbas. That will tell you most of my posts are influenced by objectivity and by PURELY musical reasons. I am a hardcore fan of rhumba and any artist who delivers for me is fine. What JB does on Snapchat or the colour of  dye on Heritier's hair or the length of Fally's beard or Ferre kicking out Chikito for drunkenness or Koffi bedding Cindy is none of my business. I am here for musical information and interaction and such mundane stuff are best left to those who consider them worth their while. If I wanted to be the moral police I would have first made sure I was sinless!!!

i get what you say more now, but you now the real reason of that? its simple,its not limited to this forum,they are the most popular so they tend to have more extremes
i get you also on the issue of music and what's outside music,but i guess with all due respect we should tolerate it thats how it happens everywhere
and thats why i gave example of youtube,you'll find it hard to have a video of an artist without criticism, without haters just there to bash,without people who will bring stuff which have nothing to do with music,without it getting very trash at some point
on the judgement side i think you take it way too seriously none of us here said werra or koffi or whoever should rot in hell but like it happens with any stars of any work or even in our daily life you'll have somebody who says the other is arrogant while himself, for example is a guy who gets angry and violent easily,we all have our flaws that does not necessarily mean we should watch each other and say nothing even if we do not appreciate something given none of us is perfect,and the prefect proof of how talking about their flaws is not a big deal is that despite all that we love them, and the end of the day thats what matters the most
if you watch it carefully again you'll notice that artists get criticized on what's obvious and then there is what can be seen as arguments by some and excuses by some when its based on opinions and positions,i doubt for example somebody should fally slap kabuya in a concert say its kabuya's face which got too close to fally's hand whereas while some will say fally has a complex by doing  a world album some will just remind people that he announced 8 years or so ago
just like for example some just say straight away that werra is a bad singer while for example i always say when under the right conditions and motivation werra is better than what he is made out to be
the problem is that ferre,koffi,werra and heritier are by far those who make the headlines the most outside the purely do re mi fa sol thing which is surely why some can't avoid bringing that controversy into the debate even when not needed
notice that even when fabregas started to be on some serious rise he suddenly got more criticized aswell as his rise was followed with controversy

We should leave room for critism, that is what makes this forum alive and interesting. Personally I'm a number one Werrason fan but his man management skills are awful considering the unceremonious Exoduses WMM has experienced for more than a decade. Its painful and it always pains to see good musicians who have contributed so much to the band leave... actually those who have made us to for in love with WMM to date.. the likes Fere, kabose, Aimelia, Kapaya, celeo, Bill, Mulopwe, Adjani, Baby Ndombe, Heritier, Adjani, Mongratana, Coreen, Lacoste, and many more... recently Olivier. I know with time they were going to move on but at least with his blessings and the fan's, so that in short periods we would have been seeing regular former WMM concert reunions. And those I haven't mentioned mattered less with maybe just maybe the exception of brigade and one guy from the dream team I shamely have forgotten his name lol

He left because Werrason suspended him just before the release of Solola Bien, which made him very angry so he went first to Didier Masela, who just starting recruiting musicians. Nowander I saw Shora on Mbonda instead of Ali at the Bercy concert, so It left me wondering where the where about of Ali during that concert. Anyway it's good he came back.
