Killed Emeneya's career. ? Wow. I'm not surprised I think it was a big mistake to do a pop album he should have stick to his Victoria roots. I guess Wenge Musica BCBG 4X4 ,El Paris,Quartier Latin, Nouvelle Génération were way ahead in term of popularity back in 1993-1994. Is it because of the flop of this album that he went silent for 2 years before the release of Pas de Contact in 1995 ?
The press are really harsh even when he came back on top they still wouldn't give him a rest.

So it was a way to take revenge and contaminating also their colleagues who were taking it blindly over.
The problem was also that he was staying long in Europe while his musicians were suffering, him taking long to release Longue Histoire while his collegues Koffi Olomide, Papa Wemba, etc. were releasing albums every year/every 6 months, having betrayers around him (JDK Decor, Mambo de Panama, etc.). JDK Decor for example took 1 millions dollars of the money of Longue Histoire to let Papa Wemba perform at Bercy. Hence why Longue Histoire wasn't really well promoted despite his succes. Being eager to get alot of money, he put alot of ngulu's of the Bercy-list. But karma hit him very hard, because he would get arrested for the ngulu-affaire along with Wemba. Mambo de Panama (the man who recruited all the musicians before Emeneya's return in 1997) motivated Guy Moller, Anthony Sampaio, Zoe Bella, Sweet Elesse, Eric Masudi to leave Victoria and create their own band after having a conflict with Emeneya.
