Josky
Madilu
Kester
Blaise
Blaise vs Suzuki  ( Different vocal classes in my opinion)
Serge Mabiala
Mathy vs Vibration ( Difficult one, Mathy is purely 2eme voix whilst Vibration does 1st & 2eme voix but both singers excellent)
Abel des Charmes (again both Abel & Oliviera sound similiar but Abel wins on vocal control as he can alternate between different ranges comfortably,he also does bass perfectly)
LE BIG BOSS

Madilu or Pepe Kalle - two of the very greatest vocalists and interpreters; hard for me to compare the two directly, but for that particular role I'd go with Pepe Kalle. Wendo called Pepe Kalle the greatest deuxième voix because of his high vocal control. Simaro also praised Pepe his for being a excellent deuxième voix "sans micro".

Best example:

Two others that should be mentioned are General Defao and Marie Paul. People forget how good of a deuxième voix Defao is.

This is one of the best duos I've ever heard; perfect harmony between première and deuxième voix. Nyboma and Defao:

Matebu 5 you're right Defao is a top deuxieme-ist but I think Papa wemba used to complain about Emeneya because when he originally stuck to doing 2nd voice he was so literally so good and I understood that when he became the leader of Victoria he could do whatever he wanted sing in all ranges whereas when he just solely a second voice singer he was literally at his best same for Defao when he was in Choc Stars he stuck to 2nd voice he was literally almost untouchable one the best I've ever heard when he created Big Stars he could do what he wanted so he'll sing in all ranges but the good thing about Defao he could actually do it 98.7% rightly that's what makes him so so so good but I prefer sticking to second voice. But yes I should have said (Defao or Fifi Mofude another 2nd voice sing in Choc Stars) even Zulema or Sakoko, Bendo-son or Patcheko/Alpatshino and many more great singers

The voice he had back then Oh my Days fantastic (lourdeur) even on Chargin Dimone.

Ah yes, Fifi Moude, Sakoko, Zuelema, and Alphatshino are also excellent.

It's a shame there's no real focus on the deuxième voix anymore. Makes me nostalgic naming the greats. The deuxième voix is the fourth dimension to a song.

Debaba
Carlyto - especially with female vocalists
Malage
Luciana
Koffi in the mid 80's to early 90's - He did some excellent work on his albums and featurings.

Duo Koffi & Defao

They collaborated for Koffi's Diva (Carlyto, Defao, Debaba, Koffi on chrous) and Defao's Le Saga de Defao and Santa. Wish they had done more in later years because they knew how to exchange première and deuxième voix so well.
