Congolese Music / Re: ANOTHER WMM SOLOIST TEST
« on: January 18, 2025, 11:30 »
He plays the even the Wenge 4x4 partitions pretty well. If am not wrong, this is the 2nd test in WMM.  He was tested à few months back.

Heritier is not a very good dancer.

I agree with you. He is still not that refined on Solo.
Personally I prefer TT, Ya Mukolo, Rouge in that order.

4
Werra does promote alĺrecuited musicians. Abel is a superb singer and would have gotten more exposure.

The new instrumentalists are very good. Only that you are judging them based on previous albums. Follow their repetitions and you will see the talent. Personally, I think the vocal sections needs beefing up with the good guys in 2nd Team.

No I don’t think so, just being tested. It looks like ya mokulu(forgot his name) is still the main guy

according to the latest rehearsals. Which is good because this Angola Solo guy is not that good at all. Werra needs to move on from this guy to be honest
Angola has been there in the 2nd Team. Was in Mi Solo before  Makaba left and Vedez Solo took the MiSolo section. There are other good Soloists  like Ya Mukolo , Rouge and Tshimanga. Ya Mukolo seems to be the main Soloist   besides Rouge, Titi, Vedez and Angola. Titi  I think is in the 2nd Team to familiarise with the MM partitions.

BaLocks guy was already in Team B and that test was just symbolic.  He's a good animateur, creative and great voice.

I don't find his cries catchy.

Congolese Music / Re: WERRASON LIVE IN CHAD

What is wrong with Werra being invited to play music in Chad?

Music is business and means money for his musicians. Let's us be honest and objective with ourselves.

The guy was recruited and already joined the first team. He was exchanging on misolo during rehearsals with Van Vedes.
@Nkosi
Which guitarist are you referring to here? Any videos of the guy in Mi-solo?

Sarah stayed for many years and was given a lot of time in concerts but she wasn't that good. To me Ya Mukolo is better as he can literally play all Maison Mere songs and partitions.  I like how Werrason keeps correcting him and how he has adapted to play much better.

However the recently tested guy to me is on another level and matches Kapaya/Mboka Liya. His interpretation of sous soul was 'studio' perfect.

And Vedes Solo is the understudy on MISolo.

Kerto has naturally moved to lead the dance team. She's creative and very flexible.

Ketchy needs to pull her socks. Only one simple dance style on all impros.

And he made them sing Koffi Ayiana. Both sung pretty well. Though Jamaika is known to be a vocalists, Wasabo surprised me more.

And both seem to like each and complement other.

With due honesty, Sarah Solo is not that good to the WMM level. Good on rhumbas but not sebene. She's ain't that creative too.

He is keeping fit with less tummy.

Kibens could be helping in studio for morote.
