Great gesture. Let him follow it up with a fair remuneration for members of his group not the $150/concert we hear of in other groups. Also work out some form of health scheme which members of the group can use whenever need arises.

Fally had this to say before the concert about what makes a show or concert spectacular. I think he is suffering from Success syndrome were you believe you are too good that even things that brought you success you start looking down on them. Lol

Lol. If they are paid better by individuals then it means you can't take them to war for example and expect them to properly defend their country. They will always be looking out for their pocket. Its a sad reality that somehow should be corrected sooner rather than later.

So in DRC, military (soldiers) personnel are paid to provide private security? Or that's not an army uniform am seeing?

yes,its quite common either from the rich,to the middle rich,to those who went through the hood life and are starting to have some money(which they feel way bigger than it is lol) to have soldiers at their disposal along with the martial art bodyguards
But that's degrading for a soldier. That should be something that the police should be doing and even then not every Jim and Jack can hire them (police), it's usually companies. DRC is a special country. Lol

Atleast he is not lazy enough to name his songs after the donors.

bro cavalier, whats even worse with them guys is that its not even the group members who play in studio, they'll hire somebody to do that perfectly blended accoustic with the programmed thing, when their artists are not giving them the result they want, then in lives they actually develop the song with more freedom to the group, its a strange logic
why not just play the song the way its meant to be
I hope they realise sooner what they need to do. I hope that Heritier's and Werrason's upcoming album will try and emulate what was done in Balle de Match in terms of style of play since for Heritier, he got his whole group to record in Paris.

Funny enough in live concerts they improvise the sebenes at the end of a rumba but they don't see a need to record that in a song. Lol

But Kudos Papa Cheri because Balle de Match has a number of songs in  both volumes that end with a nice slow dance sebene at the end. And that makes BDM a better release among the albums released at the same time.

Congolese Music / Re: JB MPIANA - BOLOGNA (CLIP)
« on: May 16, 2023, 08:55 »
JB Mpiana had to start the promo for 50 Ans, Choisy Matata, Raissoner & Jump by making clips for these songs. But because of the money, they are promoting the songs of donors who paid the most money and not songs who are potential hits.
That's what is killing rumba music nowadays. Mabanga money has replaced legit income from the music itself.

Didn't he also have have an altercation with Titina Alcapone over being overlooked by Mopao?

He even has a group? :D :D :D

When was the maxi single Le vainqueur des dangers recorded, was it during the tour of 2001?

So he is actually the young brother of Pikas Mbayabo, Ferre's D.A.

Honestly, Cafe Roum can remain in Europe. There is nothing for him in Maison Mere and he is not one who can have a solo career in Kinshasa. He has served the group for 15 or so years and thats enough for him to 'retire' in Poto.

This is funny :D.

But seriously even if you are older than your boss, you can't go on TV or in public and start calling him petit na ngai. If he doesn't want to call him boss, just refer to him as Heritier or Watanabe.
