legendary group the greatest group to ever come out of congo full of talented singers and instrumentalists with four classic albums in a decade with the best one being Ultimatum and the most underrated album being Force de frappe

And I thought Werra's A La Queue Leu Leu era hairstyles and Koffi's Effrakata era cornrows/braids were hard to compete with in terms of audacity. He should've worn that hairstyle during Bercy or at least leave it uncovered, he could've set a new hair trend ;D.

I've been thinking of experimenting with my hair and seeing this pic has given me inspiration. What would my local barber think?
Yeah the effrakata braids were terrible. Your local barber will probably roast you for trying to have that hairstyle in 2022

Congolese Music / Re: SO THIS IS HOW THEY MANUFACTURE BEATS?

Congolese music you need guitars. It does not come out nicely from generated beats. Congolese music comes nicely during live shows. Hip hop has no soul live

Drum machines in the 80s and 90s were heavily used in African Music. However when used properly, these patterns can emulate human drumming technique.

Franco was the first to use a drum machine in African Music.

Funny you mention Hip Hop having no soul live. Early Hip Hop (Late 70's - 1981) had live bands where emcees would rap over the rhythm. Sampling became introduced which made it easier for producers to chop up drum samples. James Brown records.

The Roots is one of the many Hip Hop live bands. The drummer ?uestLove is a honorable mention.
Stetsasonic is the OG of all live hip hop bands and inspired the roots

Congolese Music / Re: Fally x Ibra
« on: August 10, 2022, 14:05 »
It seems that Ibra has no idea of who Fally is. Anyway why the most overrated striker? I don't like him he is arrogant and has Ronaldo living in his head rent free but why is he overrated? Who is better than him in Sweden?
yeah i dont think ibra has a clue about who he is even tho fally has a small fanbase over here
old school players but guys like Martin dahlin, Henrik Larsson dont get enough props cause they're black
