« on: December 03, 2022, 18:22 »
bro when i listen to those songs i get pissed off about our current music, that music of then even somebody who had no knowledge whatsoever about music could feel that there was soul, creativity, artist awareness from the guys in that music
now its way too much of a secure the bag thing

Congolese Music / DO YOU GUYS ALSO HAVE SONGS LIKE THAT
« on: December 03, 2022, 16:37 »

Songs that you either did not know when younger,or did not pay attention to full album or recent song that you just came across randomly and you got stuck from the first listen
i came across this song by deo brondo in anti choc and i think i even listen about 10 times already since yesterday,he did a fantastic job in this song singing in three different ways, from the melancholic 1ere voix tenor like the carlito ferre and co to his natural 2eme voix to some high tenor like when defao went high for example

That's exactly what Nouvel Horizon Got and that's why  have sad that Sonor made a huge mistake by signing for them, because I knew what 360 deals are

for the post i knew you'd point out nouvel horizon lol i think most of those universal africa and co deals are like that, and many artists accept since being indie is quite demanding, especially in countries where there is not that culture of mabanga potentially worth hundreds of thousands in one album when the success gets very high
and having a producer or label also relieves from some pressure and brings also some professional experience, drc and i am almost certain the whole central africa in terms of fairly young generation has only one big name musician who has been on 16 successive years of always having a label, and the difference shows in many factors, the independent artists try their best but they more often than not find limitations in order to be "in the top circle" unless they became independent when already being superstars and knowing the system enough to operate with their own independent staff only

because he is not on the right camp, the level of things which has been said about his kids and late mother,if it was anybody else, and especially the people around the artist celeo is hated for bantering/countering,there would be either prison,or physical assault like its just happened between bodyguard b52 and niamacorp

yeah bro,you just have to imagine how stressed we are when something entered our eye and we are not seing well for few seconds/minutes and easy things like that which do piss us off ,but them being able to live like that grow like that learn things without really seeing, mad respect to them guys i have an uncle who turned blind at 40 plus back then due to a badly handled surgery of something in his eye,the guy still plays today classic music piano its mad
i remember kisindjora had a blind singer, every journalist who was interviewing her with him almost could not avoid crying

If i am not mistaken thats one of the reasons of olivier tshimanga and ferre falling out, because tshimanga had got a contract which was about a small "band" him ferre michel bass i think and two three other guys and the fact that they falled out when ferre's staff started pushing hard for it when he recorded with werra(the he will leak our artistic secrets very efficient gossip which has been existing for decades in our music)
and with ferre and him falling out he missed out on nice money
