Best is not only measured by voice but attributes such as carisma, composing of Good songs, better discography, better dancer, team builder etc and I find fally has more than ferre in his closet.

i agree here. ferre is an extremely talented singer but over all if we are honest as an artist he is boring and doesn't have much personality. i dig both artists a lot but fally gets the edge for being more outgoing (not only in his personality but in his musical choices). not matter how you slice it that counts in the world of music.

i don't love it. it's not horrible but a lil bit cheesy. i would love to hear how he would sound working with an american R&B song writer over congolese music. his english lyrics are always kinda corny to me lol it doesnt sound bad though

the romantic songs dedicated to men are basically the same as regular songs sang in the point of view of women. idk if i would put so much weight on that being an indication that homosexuality is going on. to be clear i'm not saying it ISN'T but i'm not sure that this is specifically a sign of it. in truth most industries that have hierarchies and are run like a 'boys club' (the entertainment industry) tend to have issues with satanism, homoerotic initiation and the like. so i'm not saying that this isn't happening. the song thing doesn't strike me as particularly off though. men have been singing in the point of view of women since congolese music has existed. this is part of the storytelling aspect of the music from what i understand.

i knew there had to be a good reason for these delays. if he is indeed partying his life away i'd like to give him one slap to the back of the head. get it together deplick. many of us are waiting and have been waiting since forever. let's go.

« on: September 07, 2016, 16:21 »
That would have been weird for Deplick if Monsoh released his album even though he's under someone else, it seems like Heritier and Deplick will go at it. The Securite maxi-single wasn't good, Deplick needs to release something that will bring attention to him once again.

i agree securite was mediocre but i feel his strength is in rumba. his album i'm hoping will be good in the rumba department. i understand why he wants to hang onto his atakulu roots (the more tools you have in the shed the better) but i'm already not much a fan of generiques. i'm confident his rumbas will be steller. i hope he doesn't disappoint me lol
