Congolese Music / Re: New rumba extract from Fally Ipupa
« on: September 30, 2022, 06:21 »
No no!! We are tired of rumba can we get some seben please, he doesn’t want us to dance this year.
To be fair, he is not really known for dance songs. He is more into Rumba. We will need to get new artists to try to focus more in sebenes.

Congolese Music / Re: Reddy Amisi - Bailo Canto full album playlist
« on: September 30, 2022, 06:20 »
I do like the album but I would give 8.5/10 because there should have been more sebenes in this album. The rumbas were well done. But coming from Reddy, there should have been more sebenes. That is why I don't give a 10/10.

Why not Minneapolis? It makes no sense. You have a lot of Congolese folks here too. SMH.

Notice how Beniko Popolipo's style is a mixture of Franco (Sixths) and Dr. Nico (Single Notes)
100 percent correct analysis. Beniko is the only person who can combine Franco and Dr Nico at the same time.

You can see in even this war of the Sape, Papa Wemba missed Kester Emeneya dearly. By performing with Kester, proved that Papa Wemba was thinking "damn it, I should have kept this man".

Was  Bienvenu Roland Faignond a songwriter or did he play for a Brazza band before creating the group Bana Poto Poto.

Congolese Music / Re: RIGO STAR BEFORE VIVA LA MUSICA

The band was pretty good. How come it did not go so far?

Beniko has a good voice. He should have sung in some Koffi songs of the 1980s. He is a great guitarist but he is also a good singer.

9
Is Denis Lutula the brother of Auguy Lutula? Did he ever play on Papa Wemba or Viva La Musica records?

10
I have high doubts that it will happen because of some so-called combattants who will succeed in getting this event canceled.

Desouza Santu did tell Ado Yuwe that Shella Mputu was a member of Empire Bakuba.

For me, it is Phaseur.

Here, you can see that Koffi was inspired to sing.

I am surprised that Celeo Scram actually had a group. I always thought that he was a solo artist alone.

I was watching Jordan Kusa's old interview with Ado Yuwe. Jordan Kusa was not wrong on his analysis on Koffi with dancers. What a good week, you can say.

How did Gode Lofombo and Papa Wemba get into a conflict? Can someone explain to me?
