Congolese Music / PRODUCER OF SENS INTERDIT ?
« on: February 02, 2018, 18:55 »
In this album, we all know that the producer is General Dabira but in an interview of David Monsoh he say that is him who produced the album Sens Interdit. I have the part of the booklet containing the credits and I see that both are credited. In the end, who produced this album ? And did he come out in December 2006 or January 2007

Congolese Music / BASS ON CONGOLESE MUSIC
« on: January 26, 2018, 17:21 »
I don't know what you think about it but I find that too few songs in Congolese music have a pretty powerful bass like Roger Milla of Pepe Kalle or Sous-Sol of Werrason. Yet there is a very good bass player in Congo but it is not well enough tuned in most Congolese songs.

Special mention to Werrason and Ferré Gola for their albums 7 days of the week and QQJD where bass is played excellently

Ba ndeko, how are you ? I have a fairly important question that I would like you to help me please. On each album, I see written "programming ..." and "arrangement" ... and I never really understood what it was. Could you explain me what it is with examples please. Thank you

Congolese Music / HERITIER WATANABE - MAGASTAR (Clip officiel)
« on: January 10, 2018, 21:54 »

Heritier has a huge potential, in Congolese music no first solo album has had such beautiful clips. All the clips in the album are of high quality and very successful (apart Toure ya Gaga) ! Personally, in the 5th generation, musically speaking, I class Heritier after Fally and Ferré

Congolese Music / ALBUM KOWEIT, RIVE GAUCHE OF KOFFI OLOMIDE
« on: December 23, 2017, 14:23 »

I think this album, V12 and Effrakata are the best solo albums of Koffi Olomide and you guys ?

In terms of arrangement, chorus and instruments I think that Koffi had assembled a very good team of session musicians, I dont think that the Quartier Latin could have done this album better than the session musicians such as the Djudju Chet, Beniko, Nyboma, Niaou 3615, Maika Munan, Souzy Kasseya ...

I have also an other question, I would have liked to know what is the name of this album: "Haut de gamme - Koweit, Rive Gauche" or only "Koweit, Rive Gauche" ?

Congolese Music / Who is the atalaku at the end of this rumba ?
« on: August 30, 2017, 22:23 »
Mboté na bino ba ndeko na nga. I love Koffi Olomidé which for me is one of the best African artists of all time. Recently I was listening Kiki Ewing, I recommend it, and I was wondering who was doing the animation from 6:05. Thank you for your response.
