Whose still in the main line-up of F Victeam? I know Kabuya, Cousteau, and Boussole ran away in Europe. What is the cause of the team breaking up? Is it staff members gossiping to Fally or is Fally to blame?
Upon his departure from BCBG, Alain Mpela had everything to become 5eme leader. He had a talented band, Generation A – Christian Solo, Mi Amour Gaylor, and others.
Where did things go wrong? If you were in his circle during that time, what would have been the best advice he should of followed for a successful solo career?
If I'm not mistaken, Koffi even supported him behind the scenes and that likely contributed to the polemic with JB Mpiana.
In my opinion, his collaboration album was his last chance at solo success. However, the promotion for that album was terrible. I remember by the time I found out he released an album with Bouro, Danger De Mort was already on the market.
How are albums properly promoted? Should Alain Mpela have focused on establishing a fan base by region of Kinshasa similar to how Werra and JB did when they broke off from Wenge 4x4?
Wasn't Beniko still a member of QL? Wouldn't he have gotten in trouble for participating in Zaiko, considering the beef between the leaders of different groups?
I wonder what JB Mpiana, Koffi, Werrason, and the others would answer as their proudest music achievement? I suspect that Werra and JB Mpiana would say Kin E Bouge, because the entire crew was together and they took Kinshasa by storm.
As for Koffi, it's hard to say...he has a very very long career. I wonder what he thinks of his albums from the 70s and 80s? Maybe he would cite either V12 or Koweït, Rive Gauche. That album was a game changer!
It's a shame Delta Force couldn't take off like other groups. Maybe the singers didn't have "the look" like QL or vocal identity like Wenge Musica, but I noticed other groups stole cries from this album lol y'all heard the dedication to Koffi in the second song, everyone respected Gode Lofombo
