Glad to see you my old and new brothers, DJ Sly is still surviving just extremely busy but will be signing in from time to time. I was in Zambia for 4 years then returned to the U.K in 2020 in a busy job where am not allowed to play on the internet but i always read.
I don't know if someone else posted this but just came across it. Balotelli Nsumbu ex band member of Ferre Gola's Jet Set with another single 'Je t'en supplie'.......sounds just like his idol Ferre. I hope one day he goes back to Jet Set.
Sad to learn of the death of Elise who was one of Ferre Gola's longest serving dancers. Her disappearance was due to her getting married in Angola.
It is alleged the guy who married her was a playa. She died after spending sometime in hospital after being hit by a car. The other report I saw they say accident so not sure if she was in a car that was involved in an accident or she was hit by a car as she walked or something.
Am I the only one who has only listened to three songs from the album. I haven't listened to the audio, only watched the 3 videos posted so far. Any reviews people?
There has been too much focus on his young brother Flamme Kapaya but the two have worked together on a number of projects and I remember reading some comments attributed to Flamme that he also coached or influenced him to learn guitar, not 100% sure though.
Ya Zing played for Adolphe Dominguez's Wenge Tonya Tonya and many other bands and he's played on most of Celeo's songs and albums including the first album.
We need to learn his journey and appreciate his works. I love his solos especially on Celeo's albums. I believe he's now in France, bandeko Kuna bopesa biso ba Infos, wish the likes of Ado could interview him.
Quite interesting, could someone please interpret for those who don't understand lingala,Japonais said quite a lot, i don't want to be misterpreted so i prefer someone neutral translates since am a JB and Ferre fan.
This guy did his home work, it's a perfect album!!!! Hope a serious Executive Producer there and some sponsors can come to his aid so that he grows his career, i find myself listening to this album everyday, highly recommended album for those who love rhumba. I love the seben too. I have listened to Heritier's album in full as well, great album too,for Fally i have only listened to 3 songs, seems not anyone is talking about Fally's album anymore, clearly people like one off world singles not entire albums.
