Congolese Music / Karmapa and Felix Wazekwa Beef???
« on: June 21, 2017, 15:40 »
Apparently I have heard rumors that they were or is bad blood between Felix Wazekwa and Karmapa.

Before Karmapa became big, I have been told by some that he sang on Felix's two albums

One was in 1997

Second was in 2001

What would the cause of this conflict? Can someone tell me?

Congolese Music / Saisai: JB Mpiana improved my life
« on: May 11, 2017, 18:27 »
Not quite but he will explain how JB Mpiana gave him improvement. Someone can explain the rest.

I enjoy this song from Sam Tshintu and Academia. It is called Sexy Sexy from the album Sexy Chocolat.

This is a good interview from Nyboma in 2013 which he speaks about music and his history with Madilu System.

I want to know how did Celeo Scram and Bill Clinton end up fighting today. I don't pay all the attention with musicians of today but I have always believed that Celeo Scram and Bill Clinton were friends before and after Wenge Musica Maison Mere.

What happened that leads to the current beef between Bill Clinton and Celeo Scram?

Congolese Music / Was Koffi's Diablos a shot at Fally Ipupa
« on: March 23, 2017, 22:27 »

Someone asked if this song was a shot at Fally Ipupa. I am not sure but it is possible

What do you guys say?

Congolese Music / Wendo and Papa Wemba

Wendo and Papa Wemba did a song together in 1982 called Efeka Mandungu
It was a great song. What a moment in Congolese Music

Old School Music / Documentary of Wendo Kolosoy

This will be my first dream duet post for Congo Vibes. I do it on my own blog "Classic Ambiance"
I will give you some post of dream duets

I am going to do Reddy Amisi and Werrason

Here is why these two Kester Emeneya alike singers would sound perfect in a duet song. Here is the difference between Reddy Amisi and Werrason. Reddy Amisi is much more diverse with his voice whereas Werrason is more monolithic. Werrason is a good duet partner to have around in a song. Reddy Amisi would apperciate Werrason a lot.

I know it is a dumb example but I see a potential in a duet song here

I am amazed and I just smile when I hear this. It shows that Reddy Amisi and Werrason need to do a song together. It would be a great idea. It would bring back some hope in Congolese Music. I think this would do the trick. Let's hope Reddy Amisi and Werrason will do either a duet song or a duet album.

Congolese Music / Which time of Werrason you like more?

Which Werrason time you like more

As a member of Wenge Musica BCBG 4x4 or as boss of Wenge Musica Maison Mere.

Start talking.

Look at this great song No Comment Shengen, JB Mpiana is driving his car but hear the great choir of Alain Mpela, Blaise Bula, JB Mpiana and Werrason. Perfect harmony.

Congolese Music / Man child Sankara makes some words
« on: March 18, 2017, 21:47 »

Man Child Sankara like Yanick wants to bring the JB werra conflict by implying that Werrason recruited JB Mpiana into Wenge Musica. Enough of that garbage. BTW Man Child Sankara announces that he is more rich than some musical leaders which is true. Also this manchild says that he will make music soon. We don't know when.
