Congolese Music / Miel De Son- Make Sense (Official Video)
« on: January 22, 2021, 10:06 »

What type of Freedom does he want?

Good job by Eclipse Mososo and the the Cultura back line, he has managed to keep the same voice for all these years. Would've looked more realistic if they had the instruments plugged in lol.

Man Mamona talked about that few days ago in Frank Stemay's interview, but said other things  from 31:12 min
I liked this interview, he made a lot of good points. Without going at people directly he pretty much went at a lot of politicians and musicians. It would be nice for Congo to go back to Kongo or even Zaire.

I've always liked this song since it came out even though the general consensus seem not to like it but it's even gotten to me as time goes by. The cover art and the video does not match at all.

Congolese Music / Re: Two new songs from Abel De Charme

Lol that video surely won't be shown on Congolese TV, and Abel should have credited Robinio, it would've gotten him more views as well. The lyrics on Malanda are at the border of what people may call "betise" lol wonder what kind of argument can be made for that.

Solo licks are pure

2021 and N’Diaye still looks like a haunted basement. Amazing that everyone uses the same studio and the sounds ends up on point thanks to Le commandant de bord JP Kys
Yes Alfred Solo is one of the best soloist out right now. Lol about N'Diaye I was thinking the same thing it looks like a dungeon it needs to be remodeled, but very work has come out of that studio for years now.

First minute with introduction then three minutes of the sebene then a minute or even two minutes of that synthe part at the end.

Congolese Music / Re: MY MI ANGE REVIEW
« on: January 03, 2021, 10:37 »
Really Good review of Mi-Ange. My Favorite song is La Kayotte, ever since I heard the extract in a rehearsal video and in studio I knew that song was going to be good. Other favorites of mine is the title track Mi-Ange Mi Demon, Gombe na Gombe (I also liked the rehearsal extract) the duets in the song were really good. Heritier did come to play on this album only thing that could've made it better was if there was one more generique and a sebene song. Michka is a good singer but his style of singing may be a bit outdated.

Congolese Music / Two new songs from Abel De Charme

One of my all-time favorite solo rifts (5:55-). The way it just builds afterwards till the end is mesmerizing

For me it's @6:52.....ehh wenge.

I've been wanting to post this one, it's been on repeat for the past couple days. Scotty BK is really a Quatier Latin fan.

Bro light music does not exist anymore, fabro was so pissed with ibrator leaving while but na filet returned and apologised for having stood up along with ibra for the musicians moaning about going a whole year without salary so he disbanded light music and mixed the  remaining members with the villanova ones( boudchou, beckham and co)
They still refer to the group as LightMusic VillaNova.Fabregas is crazy for getting mad at grown people for wanting to do better for themselves, he's lucky that the whole group didn't leave, a whole year without a salary is horrible.
I thought they had a new album planned?
Yeah they are preparing their new album Merci.
Can you explain more on the light music and Villanova, what was the structure, composition and how did it work?
Light Music was the old guard where Fabregas was the clear leader and VillaNova was supposed to be a separate group with new members where Fabregas was not the leader and that he was a regular member.
