I read somewhere that Ferre is struggling to get visas for a number of his artists. How true is this and why is it easy for Fally? Is the embassy selective? How come Werrason easily got visas for Odile, Mwanamboka, Tresor? This is so irritating, I don't get it!
Werrason actually needs a very good soloist, I'm not convinced by current team and seems he actually prefers Yamukolo more on solo and Vedes on mi solo.
Something tells me they are not in very good terms ever since Werrason publicly backed Ferre. Two weeks ago WMMM announced the suspension of Werrason's long serving security Chief Metre Ninja Sikatenda and looks like he has joined Wata's security team.
I know Werra has a lot of weaknesses, right know he has eased up and is not doing "illegal" poaching of musicians any more. Even for Djanely he had to make sure he verified that he left Ferre some time ago before auditioning.
Chai's brother is being emotional and probably wants to trend. The facts are:
1. Yamukolo has history with Werrason's team B before joining Chai and this is why he mastered the wenge style. He joined Chai, left and later on auditioned to replace Makaba. Not sure whether we can say Chai poached him as well.
2. The song where Pulusi is mentioned a lot is for Werrason featuring Chai, only that he gave Chai huge psace to sing. The song is on Werrason's maxi single album Protege base. This was after Werrason also featured on one of Chai's songs. It is just two musicians exchanging features.
3. Chai pops up at Werrason's concerts any time he wants. He actually appeared at Werrason's two recent idiofa concerts and was given chance to sing. He also got dollars from Pulusi during those concerts.
4. At Werrason's last Idiofa concert, Chai insisted that he is given chance to show Werrason and idiofa how good his dancers were. Werrason accepted and during the concert, Werrason public asked Chai for the dancers. A month after the concert, Chai personally took Balotelie to go and audition at Kimpwanza rehearsal. Werrason again public thanked Chai for the gesture and gave him full recognition for training Balotelie and Udjana. The two ladies left with Chai's permission and blessings.
One of the biggest mistakes Werrason made was to abandon that which made him great. He is good at performances and not slows. This means he needs a good team of dancers, both male and female. The female team is now sealed: 1. Udjana 2. Balotelie 3. Ketchy 4 Ketto 5. Solanje 6. Sarah 7. Linda 8. Tanya
He has upgraded Roi Sabo to first team and has settled for Yamukolo and Van Vedes on solo. Based on the information I got, Morote has 3 generiques: Two traditional generiques with one of them being a live recording and 1 folklore (the current one they are vibing to.
At a concert in Idiofa two of Chay Ngenge's dancers impressed Werrason. With Chay's blessings, one of the girls has officially joined WMMM after successfully auditioning. Werrason also wants the prime dancer, Udjana. He is trying to recreate the Zina, Bibycia and Kadogo energy. So far he has Balotelie and Keto!
Looks like Werrason lost elections again. I think he needs to focus on reorganising his band. He has over 20 good singers in the reserve, not sure why he sticks to 6 that look average. There is need for competition. He also needs another prove soloist. He needs some serious overhaul.
It doesn't work like that. Sima ekoli is not a song, it is a call on werrason's song. That call was sung by Brigade working as Werrason's employee. Werrason has full rights to that call as he owns the song and paid for its production. It is just like Bill Gates, he is not the scientist who works on the innovations but an employee cannot sue him claiming to own the innovation even if he is the one who came up with it. If Brigade patented the call before he joined werrason, he sold it the moment he added the calls to Werrason's song. He then can only sue Werrason if he signed a contract restricting how the call is used. At this point, it is just ignorance at play.
