Rocky Blanchard is like Eric Tutsi and bouro mpela who always leave and then come back lol he left with willy bula to join zaiko ends up coming back leaves again to join academia comes back again to Latino then leaves again to join sams group then returns again  ;D ;D

He went to Zaiko on his own. Just before the release of Loi. Because he was angry that Motingia Tunga joined Quartier Latin. Which made them having 4 Bass players (Binda, Pathy, him and Montigia). Willy Bula joined Zaiko went they left him for that short Europe tour in the sumner of 1997, for the recordings of Loi.
even 5 lol sam had brought sunda bass in aswell

Congolese Music / ARCHIVE ACADEMIA REHEARSAL IN 2002
« on: February 17, 2018, 14:47 »

Thinking about it tshetshe de bal is the only drummer of this century in quartier latin who has played with them all
started as a backup to champion then cambodge arrived pushing him to third, goes to academia while titina arrives and champion goes to bcbg, returns later on and plays as titina's backup then has suira mundelu as his back up then leaves

4
i think he was targeting jipson and mixed up with  fally,it was jipson who dissed academia that it was a crop of retired musicians or something like that(talking about jipson everytime i talk about him i cant help but remember zobozi jipson kutu mbilia bel soki kobota bana nde ba bota lol)

hahaha had not seen face ya farata for ages funny guy and he looked well drunk

Wenger ekufi.....lol

lol welcome to the world of overexaggeration of fans and media,it was written than it would not even last a week anybody who knows maison mere knew it would be overturned quick :D :D :D

7
Top concert, if i go by what fally once explained  ininterview, maybe we did not hear jipson's voice because of the way koffi did his chorus
all would do premiere voix tenor and deep voice then  and sometimes some of then will go a bit freestyle,i guess jipson due to his voice was limited and would be then overshadowed by the other tenor and premiere voix who had that vocal power

8
it looks very stereotypical of them lol i doubt they'd answer the whole interviews like that
ferre and fally are not natural friends the way for example fally is close to bill or ferre to jipson but both know each other's album quite well and appreciate each other, and they know they need each other aswell somehow

Congolese Music / Re: WHY JB DOESN'T WANT TO HELP HIS "CHILDREN"?
« on: February 16, 2018, 13:00 »
what is happening is simply that he refuses to release albums for those he still has relationship with, for example chai jb helps him in any  imagineable way, house rents, studio sessions, rehearsal but he does not want to appear as a producer, which is also why deplick took a while to release despite jb's help, abel has not been in touch with jb at all since he left and like you can imagine, his flirting with koffi central has certainly been reported and reported as done deal
then again jb can be "strange" on treason issues all those who did songs of praise for kinuani(sandralina, afande, tutu ) are mentioned in every bcbg concert so maybe at some point they might be close
in the case of abraham aswell he funded sessions and  trips all but considers it would not be logic to release somebody else 's work when he waits on his own to have somebody who will appear as the producer(more of a distribution/marketing guy in reality)
he has been asked that question often and he repeats that he is not interested to be a producer and prefers to help people behind the sceness
its not only maison mere,jb like some other leaders including werra and koffi funds behind the scenes albums, religious seminaries,comedies...
even in bcbg with giving permission to do solo albums,he says to his musicians i will fund you as much as i can but i am not a producer so its better to find somebody who is a producer or who is willing to handle the last steps as it has becomed common
jb is still in the logic of a "perfect" musical industry like in the past, with everybody doing his role
i can guarantee you if he did have another choice than spending those almost 200K dollars on the sessions over the years  he'd grab it

Indeed he did allllll his best to get maison mere chance one day now he has it,please nsone let him take his time and make his mark, not that rushing/trying to force bill MK2 like with bercy
he seems to be one of the most complete atalakus maison mere ever had so i hope we'll see the whole of it  good luck to him

With drummer very involved throughout the song, not like our musicians sometimes do with minimal or almost non existant drum sound until sebene

Thats is still a bit of mystery lol jb is unpredictable, what is certain is that 99,99999 of the artistic work in itself was done  at least a year ago except generiques which had to be updated
but i would guess it may be somewhere around summer, if i were him i would have released on digital platforms it can suffer none of the arguments he has, piracy and political context
and it would alread start to build some momentum for album before physical release
