Congolese Music / Madilu Funeral 10 years ago
« on: September 15, 2017, 00:51 »
Here is the videos of Madilu's funeral back in 2007. 10 years since Madilu passed away.

It looks to me that Werrason was mad about this concert, I am sure that he may have used this to finally push out Adolphe Dominguez so he could be the only one handling Wenge Maison Mere and Adolphe got his own band Wenge Tonya Tonya.

Congolese Music / Which conflict with Papa Wemba was more painful
« on: September 15, 2017, 00:44 »
Which beef was more painful to Papa Wemba. His conflict against Koffi Olomide or his conflict against Kester Emeneya. Who do think and why?

Werrason has worked hard over the years. Werrason is pretty effectively pretty popular throughout the Sub Saharan Africa region.

Congolese Music / The causes of the Koffi Olomide and Papa Wemba
« on: September 15, 2017, 00:38 »
Here are some causes that I know that created the bad blood between koffi olomide and papa wemba which would be permanent until the day Papa Wemba died.

- Songwriting disputes
- Koffi's claim that he made Papa Wemba
- Koffi feeling of getting the short hand stake over the Wake Up project
- Papa Wemba attacking Koffi on Okoningana
- Felix Wazekwa.

If there is more, mention them. This conflict is one of the best conflicts in Congolese Music history.

Congolese Music / Re: MANDA CHANTE'S GÉNÉRIQUES WERE SO SLEPT ON
« on: September 15, 2017, 00:32 »
This is a good generique. Manda Chante is making a new album or not? If So, I hope he includes Apocalypse in the animations. He is pretty good as an animator.

We could have a feature star. A New Diva. Her name is Grace Numbi
She has a better voice than Cindy le Coeur and Meje 30 combined. Sorry to say it but her voice is much better

Congolese Music / Simaro and Madilu were a family
« on: September 15, 2017, 00:23 »
It is interesting that Madilu and Simaro hated each other's guts but yet they were family. Simaro is married to Madilu's older sister (mother or aunt) named Maman Helene Kelani.
Here is the interview with Maman Helen Kelani herself. She says how she met Lutumba Simaro. I don't know how many children that Simaro had but I follow one child of his (Solomon Lutumba).

Congolese Music / Madilu and Pamelo Mounka? REALLY
« on: September 15, 2017, 00:20 »
This interview that was posted in the past had a interesting information about Madilu. Apparently Madilu had sung with Pamelo Mounka at one point. According to Elba Top A (a Madilu sound alike), he claims that he had sung with Madilu and Pamelo Mounka on a project known as Age D'Or. Madilu had another project called Chaude Ambiance (not with OK Jazz).

I hope that I can get those songs for everyone to hear.

Congolese Music / Who sounds the most like Madilu System
« on: September 15, 2017, 00:14 »
I have a poll for you guys today. I have been listening to Madilu and to me his soundalikes. Now I am going to give you options

I found 12 people that have some effect of Madilu. They may be more, if there is another person that you think of, play say it.

Here is Michelino in a 1985 Lp. He is a more aggressive version of Madilu. Franco should have sung with him as well.

Petit Prince of Choc Stars. He has Madilu's huskyness in a Defao effect.

Ferre Gola, it is pretty easy to find Madilu moments. Look at his original song Vita Imana. It reminds me so much of how Madilu would have been if he was a Wenge Age.

Mayaula Mayoni sounded like Madilu except he was much deeper with his baritone.
Listen here with Tshala Muana. I swear that I felt that Madilu was singing but it was Mayaula Mayoni

Wawali Bowane has a Madilu sense where he has his emotional effect with his voice. I can see why Tabu Ley would pick him up later on. Bokelo must have enjoyed his voice.

Bimi Ombale has Madilu's huskyness but he had a more easy flow with it. I am surprised that Franco never attempted to sing with this man.

I thought that Soki Vangu was Madilu over the years because it was a younger version of him. I found out that was Soki Vangu. But he sounds like Madilu because his baritone can be high and Madilu could also be high at times. Like Madilu, he also had a vulnerable side that attracted ladies. This song shows where Soki Vangu sounds like Madilu the most in his way. Here he has a raspier effect but you could easily believe that was Madilu.

Sam Tshintu sounded like Madilu but he was much deeper than Madilu was. This song reminds me a bit of a pair up of Madilu and Nyboma's harmonies that they did over the years. Sam Tshintu sounds like Madilu in his own way. I think Madilu could have done a great job with this song

Fofo Le Collegien surprises me because he has a reputation as a great rhythm guitar player. Funny enough, Madilu would use this man a lot of his album from his 1999 pouvoir until his final album Dernier Volonte. This song, Fofo Le Collegien really sings like Madilu a lot. This song of his actually reminds me of Madilu's 1998 classic song Yaya. The emotional effect is very similar. Amazing. I love this song because Fofo is a greater singer than given credit. I wish Madilu had done a duet with Fofo Le Collegien.

Tapis Malonga is what Madilu would have been if he had a higher range in the Baritone level as well as a possible counter tenor singer. Tapis Malonga has a Madilu effect because his voice is very emotional like Madilu except a bit more simple than Madilu had.
Hear this song. It sounds like Madilu except more simple and not too complex like it is with Madilu

Bola Bolithe has a more jolly version of what Madilu had as a singer. His voice is more fragile than Madilu had and it was a beautiful sound. Bola Bolithe just knew how to more fragile than Madilu even was. Bilonda is a great example. BTW Madilu and Bola Bolithe connected well in the choirs before their solos came.

Finally Elba Top A of Bana OK. This man is a Madilu soundalike no doubt. His voice has more vibrato with his baritone than Madilu had. Elba was more deeper as well than Madilu was. But there is no doubt that Elba sounded like Madilu. The minute I hear Elba, I am listening to a Second Madilu coming.
I am going to show how similar they sounded. When they sang together, I could not tell who was who when they sang a sample of Vincent Gomez in this interview.

Who do you think sounds like Madilu the most and why.

Actually out of all these people, I could see Marc House as a feature star. He is actually pretty talented. I think once he leaves ferre Gola and if he has a proper management with him, I could a feature star as well as legend.

Congolese Music / Re: IF YOU DIDNT KNOW WHO PATOU SOLO WAS
« on: September 14, 2017, 23:07 »
Patou Solo was a good soloist for JB Mpiana. If JB had more focus, Patou Solo could have been on the spotlight so much. He was a genius on his solo guitar. It sucks that we don't hear from him much since JB lacks focus.

Congolese Music / Re: THEO MBALA IS NOW WITH MONTANA
« on: September 14, 2017, 23:05 »
Theo Mbala was a great animator. I wonder why Defao could not find a way to keep him. He was a genius as an animator.

Celezino and Mbuta, did they have a friendship or not? Just want to know.
