For the third successive time  Werrason  show in Dar es Salaam has been postponed. This time the street from which the music hall  is situated was engulfed with water as the result it was  was not accessible!

Whoop!  the so much anticipated Werrason show which was scheduled in the open venue on the beautifully beaches of Indian Ocean was postponed due to ongoing heavy rain downpour.

The event has now been rescheduled today in one of city Hall in Dar es Salaam.

Despite of heavy rain downpour the turnout was impressive and "bolingo" (Congolese)  music fans  we're so enthusiastic for one of rare show in the city.

Let the offsprings of Wenge Musica Maison Mere stand up on their feets and flourish and so the ones from Wenge BCBG.

Lets them carry the music torch for this generation. We need new blended blood to communicate with their generation. It is healthy for Congolese music.

Congolese Music / Re: WHO REALLY WON THE WERRA VS JB RIVALRY?

It is no longer healthy to discuss who won. As long as the Principals have burried grudges against each other. We know in our hearts secretely  who carried the Torch of Congolese music in the past decade. Let us discuss how Congolese music return to the top spot once again as we cherished and enjoyed in the past. Africa is losing crafty and rich music generiques to fake and non crafty Western music generiques.

There is no way we cannot stop blaming, cause the leading G5, before launched their Solo artiste career we know where they came from and we know who was their mentor.

Hat off to you for comprehensively and vividly underscoring the points for the second reason demise of Congolese music regarding the euphoria of G5 solo artistes.

As correctly explained, several half sebenes and rhumba songs were released after the Monde Arab Heist in Congolese music, but the damage done by Monde Arab, especially at a time Quarter Latin had assembled the dream team and the potential G5, was collosal. Monde Arab came at a time when Quarter Latin had so much influence to Congolese music community, youngsters etc. The album was floppy like the Cindy stuffs but was heavily promoted, and by then time, they had money compared to other groups.

Unfortunately enough Koffi Olomide and Company were not good innovators, they were very smart blenders, you can see how unceremoniously they brandished with Ndombolo ya Solo, you could say the invention came from their group.

I dont why but someone may tell us

Cause Tchacho was always not Tojour Leader.

In those circumstances where they wanted to become Tojour Leader for instance Monde Arab Album they disappointed so much.

So Olivier left WMMM?
