You pretty much explained reasons why it could never happen today, back in the day when Koffi was absent when QL was performing without him the banner was Sam Tshintu & Quartier Latin, and they performed as well by themselves during the attentat generation with Depitcho and Babia leading the fray. If that happened today especially with social media they would say the group has formed a rebellious group, let’s be honest nowadays musicians leave over the tiniest smallest things so if they were to perform by themselves without the leader and it’s a success they would leave with the quickness to form their own band.

Discogs actually has release dates for some albums but that’s mainly from early 2000s. Our music is poorly managed when it comes to things like that because even keeping archives they’re also poor. Because they heavily rely on YouTube vids that other people upload and use them themselvesin interviews or other things and you see that YouTube channels logo in the vid LOL
I saw an interview with Fally and he was asked if he’s releasing a new album this year and he said yes Tokosss 3 but the problem is he can’t release it now because Formule 7 is still going strong and is still hot in the charts especially in Kin and Europe as if it just came out because many songs are still getting success even if they weren’t in the beginning. This is true because the 3 arena concerts he did managed to boost the album more and in Kin it’s still the number one album being played. Is this one of the reasons why it takes years for albums to come out now apart from the fact that albums now have 30+ songs and long gone are the days when it used to be 12 tracks.

Koffi needs to stop provoking Didi because it’s like poking a sleeping lion and when they wake up oh boy. Didi herself also needs to remember Koffi is the parent there’s some stuff you can’t say or do publicly, if it wasn’t for him she wouldn’t be in the position she’s at now whether she likes it or not. The Wenge reunion really fixed a lot of things Aimelia used to throw shade at both jb and werra and wasn’t cool with either, Blaise Bula had the beef with Werra, Alain Makaba and Werra. Now everyone’s close and on good terms again

Finally as we awaited response from JF Ifonge, we got one. Oh boy, JF is not as aggressive as he usually is. Looks like he knows that Koffi knows some stuff lol. Anyway, JF Ifonge makes some surprising claims. According to him, it was Koffi who gave him the nickname LE ROI ZABALETA. JF does confirm that he was indeed Koffi's confidant during the late 1990s when he was in Quartier Latin. Also, he would be with Koffi when Koffi encountered other artists like Werrason.
Loool I think Jf just always wanted Koffi’s attention and was just happy Koffi finally acknowledged/responded to him.
