Congolese Music / Re: THIS MUST BE PAINFUL TO WATCH FOR JB

Jb mpiana is a fool. He needs to come up with serious tracks to counter such. Staying idol won't help.

Actually being silent is how he needs to remain. Everyone against him is foaming at the mouth waiting for his response

Let’s dead this topic, I kind of feel sorry for JB now, jokes aside.

Facts; out of respect for Papa Cherie lets cease and desist

Congolese Music / Re: AMIDA AND VITAL ATTEND KOFFI'S CONCERT

My goodness, they just won't stop with the shade won't they. Everything they've done publicly is extremely calculated

I agree with your selection to a strong degree. Do you mean influential within the African listening population or also international? If both, I'd include Wemba's Emotion even though it wasn't my cup of tea.

I would also add Nobelesse Oblige to the list as it set the tone for structure of albums for years to come and signifcantly raised the standards for song compositions and quality. Also, it opened the doors for a solo artist not to rely heavily on the backing of session artists and having a propertary band doing most of the backing.

Note I did not say V12, as V12 took the structure introduced by Nobelesse Oblige and brought it to another level

Papa Cherie Moto Pamba many are living with cheating wives and others with wives who live double lives and here is your reply

Those snaps are from 2 years ago, but let’s hope that’s his current mood

See stuff like this really annoys me smhhh even this page @mbotecd is making a complete mockery of jb by using past amida lyrics against him, leave the man alone.

Bro, it’s every single DRC page that has made a mockery of him. I admit I may have been a bit immature on my part at the start of this thread due to the satirical nature of JV’s inital post, but I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy to be honest, especially with how many children they have.

5:15 "akota polemique naki tata" he killed me
Oh God the single is fire

Kiekie, the ultimate sh*t talker. He should have Sankara for a featuring, but I don’t think the world could handle that much buzoba

@archos, @mrvibes - this very subject points back to why someone like Wazekwa has vowed never to bring his wife or kids into public eye or mention them in any capacity.

The press is always on standby for an infidelity spin

At the same time, my instincts tell me that Vital & Amida tried waaaayyyy too hard to shade JB for reasons we may not truly ever know

Imagine if he's from nowhere acquitted on 18 March...

Doubt it

You’re a bit late, but yeah... well he won’t be in a prison if he stays in DRC. If he goes to any other Francophone nation then Interpol will be waiting.

To be honest, I am very disappointed... he had over 10 years to go and clear his name if he didn’t  anything he is being charged with.

For someone who arguably had the best run of solo success of just about any African artist, this will leave a permanent scar on his reputation and will mark the end of his demise (to me musically).

I expect an anti Koffi post from you ndeko @Francopepekalle, but I won’t bother to come to his defense anymore

13
Lmao, y’all peeped the dowry? 32 cows + $150k... and on top of that they were dancing to Koffi’s Alidor. You can’t make this stuff up

Vital is seriously punching above his weight, kiekie. Is she in it for the love? ;D

Vital now has a lot of step children

Really nice clip actually. A drug dealer who made good music
