Congolese Music / Re: MOSE FAN FAN PASSED AWAY
« on: May 04, 2019, 04:21 »
Wow, RIP. Too many African legends passing this year

I know y’all like to get on him for his antics, but his skill on guitar is god-level, shesh. Not even breaking a sweat
That “Y’all” includes you too bro kiekie.

No doubt, there are times I cannot stand the way he acts, but his talent can never be denied

Congolese Music / KOFFI AT HIS FATHER’S GRAVE SITE
« on: May 01, 2019, 03:07 »
I’ve never seen him so emotional before. Understandably so

In other news, seems like the beef with Congomikili (Ado) is mended

1656
Random featuring (years you n making, I know), but ok

@mvulusi96

Life in the United States without papers is considerably more difficult compared to Europe

Absolutely true. You are extremely limited unless they found sugar mama sponsors that are already pregnant so they can begin the paper process, which is a classic tactic for DRC musicians coming to the states

@Bencuri, Ndeko I’d get in touch with Roga Roga or Sonor Digital on Facebook. They’re pretty responsive

Also Ferrol Ngassakis, though he’s not an active manager anymore, is a good resource

Now he’s a kid in a candy store. Ado’s smirk cracks me up

My goodness, Congo10 is horrible with their ads

On a serious note, I’m glad he can visit his father’s burial site after  2 years

Yeah, there was no promotion for this album.

Lenny Bidens did a great job on his first arrangement, “Soucis”

That song was fairly well known. Fantastic. Ya Biso Moko is one of my favorite Nouvelle Ecriture albums

Kiekie, Gina wa Gina with the flamboyance

Great album
