Haha, you guys remember the rumours that Olivia was a man? That shut her career down with the quickness right after she left G Unit. By the time she did the feat with Fally she was beyond irrelevant. Fally was doing her a favor
Game was a savage when he left G Unit. lmao, their polemic dvds were the equivalent of JB/Koffi in 2001 G Unot
Ferre, Werra, and JB need to hit the gym some time my God that libumu
Haha, they like having the chief/leader belly though. It’s not good for their long term health- case in point so many artists having died in their 40’s/50’s/60’s
Remember his animations on Mopao en Or? I'm surprised Koffi didn't have them deleted from the song, because his voice was badly pitched and exhausted. If it wasn't for L’autre La, I would have forgotten that he was involved in Monde Arabe.
I believe it was Rouge à Levre. I agree he sounded bad on that song and the mixing of his voice by the arranger was also bad. Usually Koffi has a good ear good ear for atalakous (always making adjustments) so i don’t understand why he decided to include those vocals
I don’t think he was included on L’autre La, it was predominantly CNN, Apoca, Acide.... oh yea Koffi as a screaming atalakou. Great song but I wish Koffi would’ve chilled with screaming. It’s almost as intrusive as Wemba screaming mabanga on the otherwise great Somo Trop générique
EDIT- never mind he was on L’autre La with a forgettable short portion. CNN was a beast on this track. 10/10 for him
He didn’t became a coupe decale artist. It was just that DJ Arafat went to record is first solo-album ever after arriving in France. Then he asked his producer David Monsoh to get Kerozene for him. He used to be a big fan of Kerozene. I was very happy when he meeted him in the studio.
Kerozene left QL by himself because his ex’girlfriend was pregnant. Then he rejoined Quartier Latin, but prefered to stay again because he still didn’t had papers.
When I was in Abidjan in '04/05 I remember hearing that Erikson Le Zulu was trying to Kero to be based in Abidjan and become a Congolese Atalakou/DJ like Shegal Mokonzi did in the early days of decale
The writing was on the also on the wall for Kero to leave QL when he started loosing his voice during concerts and repetitions
Anthem ya ba kuluna. This song makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, goes on forever rambling, and was made in someone's basement... but it somehow still bangs. Although, the Ivorians robbed us of musical style there were some really good (now classic) decale songs
“I don't even know what that means (No one knows what it means, but it's provocative) No, it's not, it's gross (Gets the people going)”
