I was laughing at 8:50 the way depitcho's mic was muted  ;D

Haha, and it looks like Bouro was trying to hold in laughter. I always wondered what was the point of all that when fans care more about singing abilities over everything else

They could've just made him a shaker player/ dedicated male dancer and occasional composer. I don't think any other band envyed him, which is  why his career fell flat after QL

Just like JB loves being in Paris, Werra can't get enough of Chicago, where he's treated like a king by family and his American entourage. He's been making posts for every part of his stay

He's even recording and mastering songs there with a young sound engineer named Eric Yodder

Arguably two of the best vocalists of their generation. Looking forward to a duo production from them in the near future.

^ disregard the title.

More a capellas from back in July

Although it creates unhappy fans, its good that artists are becoming more prudent when dealing with organizers. A number try to take advantage because of language barriers, further creating a bad stereotype for organizers.

I first saw this long ago on VHS at friends house... Loved this period.

 RIP JL Manzungidi

Impressive; he used to love grabbing the bass at end of concerts to close the show during that period.

These guys are leaders they are for reason and this is one good example why

Congolese Music / Re: THE FULL VERSION OF PRINCE NDONGA'S AMEN

So
From Ndjora's new group album. It's more a medley of his father's vocals in QL... good, but give him some fresh compositions so he can develop an identity.

The original, shorter clip has been deleted

I guess Prince isn't aware of some of the feuds Babia and Ndjora had when he was alive. I get opportunist vibes
So you think Ndjora used him just for some publicity? And about the song they should just have some parts of Amen and then original stuff in the song and then go into sebene.Prince and Petit Mopao will be going to big groups soon.

Of course she wants publicity with him. Its the only reason her album is getting attention, since there not much else album content aside from this interview, which barely has any views.

It goes from Amen to Babia's vocals in Detresse, Dossier du Jour, and lastly Nul N'est Parfait then sebene, which any band in DRC can do.

Mopao nor wan gree say him don dey old o! See as he open chest down dey snap picture! Lol...Smh! (Mopao doesn't really want to accept the reality that he is gradually growing old. Look at how he posed bare chested for his single sleeve).
He is seriously competing with the younger ones. Lol

Yea, I first saw that photo when he posted it on Instagram; I was "come on now, it's not 1995 anymore".

Giutarists don't make Good band leaders.

I agree, but with the big exception of Pepe Felly Manuaku and of course GM Franco.

I love the hit out to Quadra regarding Cindy and he asks Mama Mundele to take control of him!!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

;D  ;D She's  too busy living well in Paris with their kids. Plus their daughter has become a young celebrity in her own right, so it offsets the present nonsense in Kinshasa.

Indeed; I completely forgot about this album and was mislead by the title. The first song is towards the end of the disc. Another album that suffered lack of decent promotion
