Congolese Music / Naza-sac a dos? where's the guitar from?
« on: September 17, 2017, 02:54 »

For all my older brothers and congolese music connoisseurs, the guitar partition start at 2:15 but i want you to pay attention to the other guitar rift change which happens at 2:33. I just kept thinking KOFFI OLOMIDE but I'm not sure. What does it remind you of guys?
If you have not heard of NAZA i recommend him, i enjoy his music....

Congolese Music / NEWS about YOUYOU MOBANGUE
« on: September 17, 2017, 02:44 »

He explains that he was already the president of his own musical group before entering Extra musica. The reason he left Extra musica was because he was getting overbooked and making much more money on the side than with Extra musica so he politely existed the group with no polemic. He said that he printed out 5,000 CD's of his first album and they were sold out in 2 days.
He also reminds the interviewer that he is the best Atalaku in BRazza and that reminding him still about a few years ago when he issued an open challenge to any atalaku to challenge him and no body stepped up.
He played in Cabinda and is now working on a single some powerful rich guy in Liberia commissioned him to do.
I really like that guy, i just don't think that any atalaku at this moment can challenge him.

Patrouille des stars Came out with OBUS
Wenge Maison Mere came out with Intervention Rapide
Wenge BCBG came out with Titanic

Which group came put out their album first , if I remember it correctly they all come out  between 1997-1999.  Not too long ago my dad asked me to record him a bunch of old school last back back back in the day congolese music as far back as the 60's and i heard i think the same guitar riffs which are also present in all 3 albums aforementioned.

In Obus you can hear it at 2:50

In Intervention Rapide the same Guitar riffs comes at 4:38

In titanic the same guitar Riffs comes about 4:48

who came out with the guitar riffs first and was it indeed just a copy of an old school classic rumba from back in the day??

Talking about he has had his group for about 8 years, He forged his style listening to Bill Clinton and Etats unis Moucharabia (2nd atalaku of extra musica) he explains how he is thankful for what GOD has done for him, He also thanks Roga Roga... he talks how he mentions bokoko (ancestors a lot), He is preparing an opus to come out soon. He is not a afraid of success nor surprised how his latest single is making noise for he comes from Extra Musica, Of course he is not talking about why he left Extra....all in all, somewhat revealing interview, both sides of the CONGO river, in my humble opinion nobody can touch him, i dare you to listen to him, his flow the way he goes from french to kikongo to lingala and lari, i said nobody right now can touch him...
