Congolese Music / Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JB MPIANA

lol actually that his boasting asset when he's been confronted by younger singerss,or chef de repetition genta argueing with him over hanging on microphone while the rest have turnover like planned,he 'd say "kosakana na nga te nga naza age moko na masta na nga werrason" then go sulking in french "je suis ton superieur hierarchique petit frere c'est moi qui vous ai transmis a tous la wengenite,la wengelogie, alors il ne faut pas transgresser les lois de la nature"
hahahaha like 3 years ago my bro was saying that he got super mad at new female dancers having their tests calling him "papa kibens" he felt insulted because he still sees himself as young and energetic
Hahaha. Mulongeshi and his overly exaggerated grandiose. At this rate he needs to transition to being a professor in an academic setting so that he can be intimidating bana class.

yes many of the whole vocals of kibuisa were heritier, mabiala, chibida lacoste
not because the other were bad but simply because they were not going to those rehearsals at werra's home which shaped the song already before the group had to learn it then record
Ah d'accord. But why wasn't he a favourite of Werrason given this background. One would expect him to have been close to Werra than Adolphe.

From studio, seemingly mixing the replacing parts  of nono fudji's huge contribution'4 leads,1 co lead and 16 vocals)
lol at the end he does his typical happy birthday message to himself not as papa cheri and all that but as jean bedel

Happy Birthday for what?? For us to start sending in roses and shout outs when we are hurt by his lack of empathy behavior. How on earth can such an artist go for 20 years without an album or song? Away with your birthday. Before I logoff, how old is Kibense now? 100 years?
:D :D :D

There was too much disorder in that group.  ;D. The Beef of Vieux Kes and Bipoli was about leadership. Now i understand. Merci

383
Donc Vieux Kes and Bipoli were the stars of the group at the sortie officiele of the group? When and why did Debaba leave Victoria Eleison group?

The rhythm or is it the solo guitar starting at 3:10 minutes.

Werrason should have been the leader of Wenge Musica instead of JB Mpiana since he was the co-founder of this movement. I will always wonder why Werrason never fought hard to be the leader of Wenge Musica.
He wanted to control how the cake (finance) is shared. So he probably cared less about ki presida (until later) and well JB is more charismatic between the two of them so its only natural that he was chosen as the face of the group. Similarly even at the separation it was only natural that JB still continued as the face of the newly formed BCBG group because non of the others would have carried the group forward.

Sankara seems like such a fun guy
I was about to say the same. He is a whole vibe when he is not dissing others.

I think that Emeneya just wanted to copy what Papa Wemba used to do with him, when being in his band Viva La Musica (1977-1982) and still continued to do until 2003 when he got arrested. But Emeneya not having the luck like Wemba and doing it on wrong moments.

Is it also the reason that he was absent from DRC  for that 7 years up until he came back for the recording and release of Mboka Mboka somewhere around 1997/1998?

Why is Blandine competing against 13 ans (both Werra songs) thought it was a JB vs Werra battle.

Augustine
13 ans

And Kevin's response is "boyebisa bango soki basilisi, bakende kosuba apres bakende kolala". I honestly thought Kevin na Roga Roga are cool with each other coz a few times before each one has been asked about the possibility of working together and they have both have had praises for the works of the other. I forgot that "monde ya miziki eza eglise te". Lol

Congolese Music / Re: Titanic vs Sanction
« on: May 27, 2021, 09:19 »
I will pick Titanic. I prefer the Wenge playing style with more of rumba and short non aggressive sebene in a song. Even though i have to admit Sanction is a very good album with my favourite chanson being Sort, Ingratitude and Speed Life (because of the Zambia shout out  ;D). I have been listening to the album more as a tribute to Lebou Kabuya...  Anyone noticed the similarity of the rhythm of Sort from sanction  as the changement de frequence happens at minute 1:45 minutes and Eternellement of Fally in Force de Frappe.
