I miss these old fally concerts where he would perform some strong sebene. I was usually okay with him performing rhumba for mostly the whole concert, because in few times when he would perform sebene, it was fire and on point. Nowadays it's so soft and lackluster. I'm not sure if its because of Felly Tyson or something.

The thing is, is that they keep performing the same old songs over and over again. They barely perform any of their newer stuff.

Most of WMM’s latest catalogue is pretty forgetful to be honest. Some good songs here and there

Yeah you're right about that. Smh very frustrating to say the least.

Yall want me to do a retrospective album review on Temoinage? I got some pretty cool commentary regarding the album

My favorite tracks on here remains Conscience Bela, perhaps Werrason best composed rhumba since
Ntima Mbote or Blandine.

Yeah please that would be dope!

Hopefully we get those Europe concerts back soon so they could have those high quality edited concerts again.

The Wenge El Paris 2007 album Yebela Vision. Can't find it anywhere and was wondering if anyone on here has it and would mind sharing it on here. Seems like a very rare album. Thanks.

Was it ever explained why he passed away?

I'm disappointed it didnt end up sounding like this. I hate when the prototype version is superior than the original release smh.

Didnt koffi olomide perform at parc de princes in 2000? Why couldn't he perform there again only a few years later? Makes no sense

Congolese Music / Re: Tapis Rouge was an excellent album

This album was the Sanction, and Miracles of Extra Musica. The quality was up there with those albums imo.

The problem with this industry is that the new generation isn't producing quality albums at a consistent rate. In the previous generations, the new groups were producing quality, so there wasn't such a reliance on the old heads to produce quality albums. Now we do, so that's the unfortunate reality. So when things like this happens it really affects us in a negative way.

We've been robbed 10+ years of good high quality concerts due to the stupidity of the combatants and the musicians themselves.

I don't know man. I was a huge fan of kunzardo, and his absence is kind of a detriment to me. I also wonder why bercy wasn't in this. I like him a lot only when he's contained and not all over the place lol
