Congolese Music / ANOTHER CRIE I WOULD LOVE TO SEE IN AN ALBUM
« on: October 02, 2020, 23:53 »

Man Sabena had so much talent, just check the Moto crie at 03:01 It would have been so big in a Wenge album

Congolese Music / AIGLE HAS BEEN QUIET
« on: September 29, 2020, 22:52 »

Of course Fally's camp and mainly fans who used to mock Innoss for having views only because of Diamond Platinums hopping on the remix now that Innoss have surpassed Fally latest song of quite a while (9,5 mil > 8,8 mil) with a song on his own they have been very quiet preferring focusing on supporting Robinio and his rants against Ferrè, finally Innoss has one less enemy since he is proofing he can't be stopped the only guy who will still hate Innoss is of course Bill.

Congolese Music / WITH THIS VOICE?
« on: September 27, 2020, 23:42 »

So Robinio wants to talk shit about Ferrè with this voice? Lol the video didn't even reached 30 k despite the generique being over one milion, so his Atalakus are carrying his career and yet he thinks he can sing.

Congolese Music / SO KABOSE IS SERIOUS?
« on: September 26, 2020, 11:29 »

So sad seeing a n old man like him dissing his fellow Wenge MEMBER if he spent as much as time dissing Ferrè focusing on his career it would be a different outcome for him

Kaka Mbángá for non Congolese Lingála Speaking friends it means a very dispregiative way to say you are all talking is like saying you are full of shit, but even in a worse way

Congolese Music / I DON'T LIKE MAITRE GIMS VIDEO AT ALL
« on: September 25, 2020, 18:22 »

I mean in Europe we have the privilege to not be as much as racially divided like Americans are why do Gims does things like this? Not only Gims but many singers in Europe love.too much to focus on USA when there are problems in Europe, I really struggle to see a video representing lynching or klan I action so I closed the video after five seconds

Congolese Music / O.O LACOSTE WAS THIS POPULAR?
« on: September 25, 2020, 17:32 »

I have just typed recently Werrason by using the most viewed video parameters and with my big surprise one of the biggest video of Werra and most viewed was Lacoste's song in Sous-Sol Medicament, to be honest I used to always skip this song (having the Sous-Sol DVD at home) because when I was little (the days where Sous-Sol came out in 2006 I was 12) I used to really hate rhumbas but it seems it was popular a lot, I remember on a DVD I had that combined Kora Awards, some of Temoignage clips and La Zamba Playa Live concert plus Tindika Lokito AD of 2003/2004 plus Primus AD of 2005 a part where at La Zamba the focus where all on Lacoste 24:08

With him explaining that he made a song called inspiration elsewhere (probably with Tata Adolphe) and that he feels bad that he can't play it in Maison Mere so he have asked Werra to play it and Werra agreed by saying that if you had your son with struggles and suffering, the time where you will become wealthy and start living a good life, would you let that kid to struggle? You can't really forgot or to avoid your son no matter what life puts you through, man it is crazy Werra actually said that given how nowadays many persons who are from other groups will be crucified for trying to put their songs in another group in Wenge Musica
Anyway why Lacoste waa that popular if you scroll in advance to few minutes you will see the crowd making the floor packed by how much they were going to the song is crazy.

By the way here Celeo going high to the sky at 21:07 maaan it's a shame he have lost that beautiful voice

Congolese Music / WHAT IS THE LANGUAGE HERE?
« on: September 24, 2020, 21:20 »

At 07:31 what is the language spoken at that minute, and why there aren't much of the videos of the album Sautez Deja? Mmman I remember having the DVD with the bonus of The preparation of Faux Mitu Boye with the famous Gabbana dance, anyway what is the language spoken by the Atalaku at 07:31 and what is his name? Because it seems that was the only time I have heard or seen  him in 'S Grave, anyway this album has some absolutely fire Seben I don't know why Wazekwa is not respected like His peers Koffi, JB and Werra when he is able to do very beautiful generques

Congolese Music / YOU COULDN'T HAVE A PARTY WITHOUT THIS SONG
« on: September 22, 2020, 23:51 »

Man is one of the most well made generique of JB Genta was on another level and Cellulaire delivered too, I loved how Genta and Cellulaire used to sing the same cries you could hear them doing it and it was so different from the rest of the duo of Atalakus, but why Pajo and Ben Laden (and to some extent Fusee who was already in the group but not as an official member) weren't used? I have noticed that many times in JB's generique you have only two or three Atalakus and on another song the other two for example why Ben Laden has been left on the Je Ne Te Calcule Pas Song?
Anyway yes this song was and is still is fire

Congolese Music / THE ART OF MABANGA
« on: September 21, 2020, 17:53 »

At 07:01 I know is not the best Seben of Soyons Serieus But at the same time I find really charming the way Genta sang all those names in 1 minute and 18 instead of saying the simple "Amataka Na Mpúnda" crie, I think Genta is a living legend for how he can make a song about anything.

Congolese Music / KIDS OF MUSICIANS
« on: September 14, 2020, 16:47 »
Today I was watching a video about a College guy who attempted with many of NBA legends sons and their team won the National Championship, with Musician instead how do their kids deal the typical musician life usually seeing your dad with multiple women or multiple man if she is a women, seeing daily people you don't know overpraise or attack your father/mother and actually being able to live life better than the rest of your peers (well if you are officially claimed) and then the ugly part, being the not wanted kid being the son of a lover or an ex wife being the guy that does a lot of emission in Television but that can have never have their dad's attention how do kids of musicians reacts, benefit or sometimes replicate being a musician or being a musician's son or daughter?

Congolese Music / HOW DO THEY GET MONEY?
« on: September 14, 2020, 16:31 »

Today I was re watching the new generique of Extra Musica Nouvel Horizon and I asked myself, how do all these labels signing African acts can make money? I mean streams aren't a strong aspect where you can get your money in African music, and I doubt that in a group like Extra Musica where there are 20+ persons there is enough money to be made as a label in concerts, so where does Universal and the other labels signing African artists get their money from? And are Extra Musica and other groups in those typical slave contracts? Where basically they give you a lot of.momey upfront let's say 500k for each Extra Musica member but then recoup it by not paying you until you repay their loan?

Now I understand Bill's Anger and despite being more leaning towards Innoss I cannot lie and act like Innoss hadn't done wrong

Two years ago Bill made a song with Innoss's rival Gaz Mawete and since Innoss can't really stand Gaz Mawete he thought that Bill accepting to go help Gaz Mawete in a song was an inirect way to unsettle him, by collaborating with his enemies, so despite Bill being very close to Innoss and calling him regularly Innoss started to stop answering the phone if Bill was calling despite being very close to him, and instead of keeping it private he tried to humiliate Bill by saying live on Papy Mboma that he doesn't answer to Bill's calls, and this is why from then on Bill United wit Fally against Innoss'B to be honest I hoped Innoss didn't follow the footsteps of Fally, Werra, Koffi and all the Congolese artist who plays this game of if you work with my enemy no matter how hard you have work for me you are my enemy, it is a very childish act and show all the immaturity of Innoss that even though he is established he is still a 23 year old.
