bro manzambi i told you already in another topic that rodal had joined but na filet along with two dancers ,i think you did not notice

Oh ok I thought the Rodal you have spoken and Senseben were two different people, is that why Fvro deleted his part from Lokolo? Or he deleted before he left? Anyway I like this rivalry between But Na Fillet and Fabregas it will keep the genre alive

Kkkkk I think I will have to wait for his next crie to confirm if he really is good, cause I have only heard him on that intro only so not sure how far he can go........still sad about Rodal Senseben.

Lol in the first video he started to say that he will start to animate naked and Fabregas stopped him by saying Yo lol which means hey you. With that said bro, this guy has fire, you can clearly see that he is born to animate

listen from 16:30 until 17:38

Yes the same Crie but man that fireeeeeee. With that said what have happened to Rodal Senseben? I never understood why Fabregas left all the other guys part from the Lokolo Générique with Showme

So his name is Kipukunia, to be honest I think he is the Atalaku with the most fire lately, it was time that I hadn't seen someone with his passion and drive, the way he puts words into music sounds so harmonious, what is the language that he speaking in the Crie? That Waranya, Werebo, Wereki? It seems is not one of the big 4 language (definitely not Lingala and KiKongo, and neither Swahili and Tshiluba) but it might be who knows? I really want to know ho this guy is, he is wild too you can't see it because he is in front but in the back of his head he has a stripe.of hair to make the Nike symbol lol

yeah i guess the guys dont like how influent bebert is,and the fact he also has shares in the group, many they did not understand each other about his role and his limits
its well known anyways around the whole world that producers are not saints from heaven, they have the artists/group interest, but theirs aswell, and i think guys like sonor and co are not bothered much because they accept his influence and are much more focused too into proving they can succeed musically without roga
if you take groups in west africa or central africa where there is many talents there is often a couple of guys whose relationship with the manager or the producer is not as good, either because those guys want to check every thing even into the detail or because there is incompatibility of feeling( for example the cases of roga and werra and late simon) or guys who are tempted to go solo and use the producer or manager as scapegoat

I will reply Archos's post but I have read the answer of Cavalier Solitaire too and I will reply to him in this comment I will make.

Sorry to say this, I love Donor, he is a good guitarist (Roga is on another level tho) and all but the guy is just too stupid and naive sometimes, like I now understand why he was with Roga this much he is really naive, plus how you gonna let your manager after all the shit you ha e been through with Roga Roga have so much influence in the group? Plus the influence of Bebert Etou it is heard in the songs too all the group's addresses him as Bebert Etou manager patron... And I was like... You guys really don't want to learn huh?

4:06

With that said I think Donor trusts people too much and be believes in the good of the people too much and for how guys in NH make it seems like they respect his leadership they don't really do. This is an example of that

I don't remember when Inthe minute but SONOR wants to take by force the mic of Zaparo and Zaparo kinda silently refuses. Now imagine Werra wanting to take your mic or the same Roga Roga taking your mic and you refusing bro you would be done right then and there but here Some doesn't say anything. That is not a leader I think he is like Eclipse Chef by name but people know he can be easily convinced so they don't really respect him

With that said Some said in an interview with the same Hugues Voguel Decibel that they got a 360 deal and the deal was beneficial both for the label and both for Nouvel Horizon... No, absolutely not, a 360 deal means that the label can take whatever you do as far asusic, shows, merchandise and decide how.much you gonna take off of your own material

Same interview, so, if they don't sort it out more and.more.members will leave. By the way what will Obama do now?

Am impressed by the sound, the style. Proper sebenes, not overly slow rumbas. That Medaille D'or song of Papy Bastin is a gem and has a powerful sebene even better than that of the generiques. Ah Papy Bastin, grand compositor et author.

Baudry should not have left that late into the album release. They didn't even have enough time to delete his mabangas in songs such as Maman Mapasa of Kassoul Chalkdri.

Proper album we have gotten so far in the past year or so. 8/10 for me.
Why have Baudri left? I need fact I was looking at the album's thumbnail and wondering why they were only 9 instead of the 10 co-founders

1762
lol thats the thing back in the days when the guys were getting vocals every the start and the ending was very important, listen carefully to most albums of that period, you'll see that except when the guys had to cut their vocal short because of pace they tried in most cases to end in style

Wow, can you please link me up with some songs of albums if that era? I have been trying to replicate that guy from Viva singing in Portuguese all afternoon. His vocal is weirdly harder than Alpatshino's one

Congolese Music / WHY KOFFI COPIED WENGE MM IN EFFRAKATA?
« on: November 19, 2021, 14:13 »
Despite Extra Musica being the one being blamed of having copied Wenge Maison Mere (mostly because they are from Brazza) there were a lot of Wnrge MM copycats during time and Quartier Latin was one of them, despite KOFFI slow and chill pace of générique KOFFI started to slowly copying Wenge with that being evident with the single Effrakata in the album with the same name and the second générique, which ended to become one of the most successful générique if that year, Generation Bercy with Fally and Bouro if I am not mistaken animating too with Kerozene and Brigade and even in Gilba Seben. Now it has been stated that Koffi copied Wenge in that album but why? KOFFI was already successful and really didn't need to copy Wenge to be relevant so despite that why have he copied them?

Good Morning everyone.
I feel it was not necessary for the other gentleman to openly insult another member. Let's not forget that this a social platform, which has brought us together out of interest for the genre. It's here where we come to enjoy not only listening to music, but also to interact with others and learn more about the current, and history of the genre. If one feels very offended whenever a divergent view is posted about their Musician of interest, the best way is to just  remain silent without counter responding. This is what gives birth to unnecessary arguments where each individual want to defend their point of view. As much as we maybe strangers by nature, but here we are a family which is made up of different age groups, young and the older alike. Arising from this premise, respect and tolerance should be observed and should be the order of the day.
By the way when is Papa Sheri releasing his long anticipated album??
Peace!!!!

Look, you cannot threaten to create a special section to discuss only Wenge Maison Mere related topic just because you are a so called founder member or whatever title you wanna give yourself here.
We have tons of old followers of this forum who are silent like me and important formerly vocal members  like Prince Saab who have just gone silent just because of the b.licking on the forum.
Admins have just been watching while some members are getting completely rogue and attacking bandleaders and other members.
For the last few years the genersal influence of this forum has grown by leaps and bounds and the so called admins must up their game in trying to tame this kind of intolerance or just open hatred towards people you haven't even met or you will never ever get the chance to interact with.
Werrason Jb or Koffi for that matter is not you're ordinary person you just want tohaul anything towards. These are people who make real difference in peoples lives so don't you ever issue stupid hreats to fans or artists here. Iam not Congolese,I don't even understand the language but I find some people here's conduct on a weekly basis to be bitchy

Plus why do people like you who claim to be upstanding guys go si hard for leaders when their irratic behaviour it is known? It is not ok for me to threaten people. Ok I understand that but you know I have done it on purpose just to show you and people like you how it must be to deal with leaders on a weekly basis having no power over them being their subordinate and having your life depending them. Now Werra kinda did the same to Bogus no? For songs who are proven to be written by Bogus and gave Werra massive success. Now tell me what is the difference between my threat to Nksoi or the kenebr who have spoken against my actions and Werra threatening Bogus?

Congolese Music / Re: NOUVEL HORIZON NEEDS TO STEP THEIR GAME UP
« on: November 18, 2021, 19:38 »
The problem here is that, the need one more Atalaku! Because now they're going down the monotonie route! They were doing so well from their debut, they really need to push themselves! But VISION comes out tomorrow, so we'll make a judgement there and then!

Man it is true the 19th is tomorrow. Hmmm they should have done a challenge too, I mean they are relying too much on only making good music. Roga is indipendent yet Bokoko has 4.1 mil views and according from people.of Kin, Brazza, Abidjan and almost all Black African countries BoKoko is a track that gets people crazy in the clubs. Despite a great record in Na Suka Wapi Horizon failed.to reach the 2 mil staying at 1.9 that is weird Roga indipendent but bigger numbers Horizon label but smaller numbers.

I swear if I see another WMM thread this week (favorable/unfavorable), I'm going to have to direct it to this section specifically meant for Werrasoniques  ;D:
Werrason & Wenge Maison Mere Discussion - Members only
Post all your topics about Werrason here. This board is only open for registered members.

http://congovibes.com/members-only/

You can equally create links for other artists.....whats wrong with people sharing their opinions about WMM.
I strongly believe there is no rule that restricts how many times a particular artist can be discussed on.
Those with different views about WMM should be allowed to air their opinions. This platform has members with different tastes, hence room for divergent views should be accommodated. The positive and the negative alike.  How someone else perceives WMM has definitely no impact on the how i feel about the Band. My track list is all WMM, albums and concerts, so anyone else's opinion has no bearing on the unconditional love for WMM.  Equally myself i sieve what to listen to. I would enjoy a particular song over the other....its called preference.
For the benefit of doubt, people might be having posts about WMM here and there maybe because its one of the most active BandS with activities taking place. How can they discuss on ZAIKO for instance who is inactive?. No Offence to the great Zaiko...
Kindly allow people to debate and argue freely, that cannot be totally avoided in such a group like this one.

I submit

PCGY bro we were only having banter, it’s only because there was so many threads  about the same topic about whether MM is still good or not, it had nothing to do with Maison Mere as a whole
Hmmm I guess I will make another WMM's thread tomorrow thank you for the suggestion

Wow, Alpatshino being the second singer (right after Papa Wemba despite being an Atalaku, is extra rare for Atalakus to be respected like that and let alone having a song where they sing and even where they sing right after the leader) after the Leader Papa Wemba, in a song about Women and how much each singer in the song love his woman or how their.love for their women have developed. All of this knowing that Alpatshino got actually killed by the woman he supposed to be loved by and probably (allegedly it wasn't proven) got.his own boss involved in his death. With that said the glances that Alpatshino's wife was giving the camera looked really odd, you could see that she wasn't really in love with him how you gonna stare around and smile little when your man is singing you a love song?

1:31

Anyway man what a voice by Alpatshino the final vocalise at 1:53 these are the kind of.voices/vocalize who really get me to just listen and listen to the song again

Whi is the guy doing that sudden voice drop at 4:39 from a high pitch voice to a low one

Ahahahahahahahha, the comment who said "Voix na ye ezo Mata ba escalier" was totally on point that weird harmonization was wild but kinda good. He should follow Vieux Franck Lassant and Fabregas and doing that comedy singing type.of.music
