I wonder if Maradona had slept a few hours before the show after rehearsing for hours with Nouvelle Ecriture who arrived the same day. Zimbabwe, Alpatchino and Bendoson having to dictate him how to drum with every dancestep.

The videos of the show did not do mabuma bass service bass was not too audible
that being said here is my review of the two concerts
 THE POSITIVES
-ferre proved if there was still doubts that he is one hell of a singer
-crowd reactions singing along with him in  language which is not theirs, requesting loudly songs(which if he did not happen was the secret weapon of the opposite camp, that he sang and people sat looking at him  like they were forced to be there)
-the choice of songs even if i disagree to him trying to force people into accepting OKE vibes (this goes to show somehow how over the years he neglected generiques)
-well dressed
-chorus did a good job to back him
-ivorian women are bootyful oupppsss beautiful lol
-i love the interaction between marchouse and mabuma when playing songs

THE NEGATIVES
-not bringing ilunga,he is tailormade for such shows  his height his stage antics...
-not bringing unless i did not see well hadji solo ,charly is good but he is like his mentor maitre ficarre  they have periods where they will surprise you then they will go on a long period being just steady
-blaise createur on his own, this should never ever ever ever ever ever happen again, first because his style of tenor does not suit everything he has to interpret second except his time with reddy where he was doing animation on pure sebene, his prime came with lacoste on bonioma,he is a fantastic member of a duo or trio but on his own nahhhh ,i watched on instagram and fans roasted him hard
-another negative but minor he did not allow his singers much, especially his brother guy he has one vocal "muana mama vuanda no..." with that waist dancing it was PERFECT for countries like ivory coast

all that being said i hope that ferre will build on this and go on,he's done enough of that i make an effort then i  chill over past years, he is entering probably the last decade where he will be very energetic its high  time to be relentless
As a fan of Ferre, you made some good points. My only issue is why didn't those 2 other animators Kunzardo, Doupidi came along, like you mentioned on the negatives it's bothered me a lot in the 2 concerts.

Japonais continued , in Kibuisa he  played bass on most sebenes. Mimiche just playing on Operation Dragon, Tave and Annie. Lofombo getting also invited to play bass on the sebene-part of Obiang, after that Werra argued with Mimiche. But like Japonais not, Lofombo would not credited as bass-players on the credits of Kibuisa Mpimpa. Its just that Japonais needed to give some space to Burkina Faso as lead-player, who just joined and playing mostly rhythm on that album. On A La Que Leu Leu, they didn't invite Guy Nsangue like they did on Solola Bien and Kibuisa Mpimpa. It made Japonais playing bass on the singing-parts and just a few sebenes, since that Mimiche already matured as bass-player, but both would leave Maison Mere after the recordings.
I understand now thanks. I don't know if Its my imagination running wild but wouldn't you think that ALQLL would've been better if Burkina participated (i feel like Kapaya was a bit lazy) and not only Al Nzimbi being the arranger of that album?

Percussion was done by Ali Mbonda. Djudjuchet progammed and played all drums except the sebenes and the generique. You had Philippe Guez who played the keyboards. Maika Munan  played keyboards the song on Vita Imana &  Rendez Vous Manque, playing also percussion, acoustic guitar and lead guitar on the songs. Japonais Maladi played lead on the songs Robert Basende and Augustine playing also rhythm and mi-solo on the same time on these songs. Flamme Kapaya played lead on the generiqe, Cresois, Kofi Ayina, Likama and Heritier with Japonais Maladi playing rhythm on these songs. Guy Nsangue played bass on almost all songs, except the sebenes and the generique. Didier Masela played bass on his own song Likama. Japonais played bass on the generique and on the sebens of Cresois, Kofi Ayina, Robert Basende, Augustine and Heritier, but wasn't credited on the list, just getting the shout-out "Japonais D.A. Polyvalent" (D.A. being the abbreviation of Directeur Artistique) during the Tatu-Kasuba animation in the generique for the way he did that bass-part, played rhythm and mi-solo on the same time.

from 3:08 min Japonais adding the mi-solo guitar above the rhytm-guitar, Werrason then giving him the shout-out and Japonais coming again in with the bass.
Thank you, ndeko I really needed to know this. Japonais really earned his nickname as being polyvalent too bad he didn't continue like that on Kibuisa

Excuse me for my lack of knowledge but I would love to do a review on that album in the near future. Some help would be appreciated.

Babia and Willy Bula joining Academia in 2000 around the same time Suzuki did. The Chorus of Sam, Modogo, Bouro, with Babia, Suzuki, and Willy would’ve been special.

Quartier Latin rebellion in 2005/06 led by Fally, Fally himself indirectly confirmed in an interview once that something was about to happen. @Mfumu do you have any idea which musicians were rumoured to be a part of that plan?

Les Marquis with where they tried to get Fally, Jordan Kusa, Shella Mputu, Genta and others to join.
Marquis tried to really have those guys join the group wow

bro congo, you wont believe musicians who play on stage together and insult each other and show their reactions of ego without people even knowing, having been lucky to be sometimes on side stage,it happened that i saw musicians dissing their leader  for example about payment issues,or leaders insulting mothers of artists over doing shoutout when he sings, messing up a vocal and so on
the fun they have on stage and give us can be deceiving
Oh my god, I never imagined it was that tense lol monde ya musique eza ndenge. from the outside looking in getting in a Congolese orchestra seems like more trouble than good I see now why some artists say you have to be strong mentally or else you won't survive. Gotta be a stressful to be in such a stressful environment

and today sankara denies having insulted ma marie since he knows footage is hard to be found so he  proudly asks for video when they ask him about it
So that video actually exists wow. I wonder has Ferré forgiven Sankara for that because, insulting another people's mother no matter what the issue is it's too far
